i was partnered with the amazing artist @vvlenz, who created an absolutely spectacular art piece to accompany my fic.

It's been a long time coming - a fic that I've been working on for the past several months! it's very different from nearly everything i've ever written before, but it was a lot of fun! it def taught me a lot about pacing, plotting, and how to write a long fic. i really and truly had a ball with this. thank you so much to the mods of chbb for running an awesome event <3

who is this propaganda for because it's sure as heck NOT c!techno?

there's nothing about separation from family in his story, there's only the brief mention of his parents being killed by orphans. there's definitely nothing about generational trauma. trauma, yes, but again, his family isn't even present in the canon of the dsmp!

unless they're like. giving him a much bigger role in c!phil and c!wilbur's storyline than he actually had??

and political ideology didn't tear anyone apart in c!techno's story. him and c!phil didn't fully see eye to eye but c!phil also still sided with techno in the end because he saw how harmful the government was.

if anything, from techno's end, his ideology brought him together with people! he gained a friend in c!ranboo and c!niki.

Also lately he's been like "ugh I'm so out of practice" and then he gave Daquavis a Manhut Masterclass I can't even begin to imagine how good he'll be when he considers himself warmed up

I feel like Daquavis just does not have the clutch gene like the hunters I feel sometimes pull off really awesome stuff but Daquavis just was not prepared for Manhunt Dream

Don’t forget the hunters learned and trained right alongside Dream. No one else is going to be prepared for the wild animal that is Dream Manhunt

WOW omg even knowing dream won I was on the edge of my seat. I feel like Dream was dominating the first half of the video like the obsidian trap was CRAZY and he felt so in control. Even in the nether it felt like he was chasing daquavis more than daquavis chased him! I was sure the portal back would be trapped or something but honestly he opened the end portal easy, and then daquavis went in FIRST which gave him time to regroup a bit.

but the end def showed how tough it is with even one hunter- the clutch onto the obsidian pillar was AMAZING, and he spent so long on half a heart sniping at the dragon… I’m so glad he clutched onto the ground at the end and managed to get that final hit on the dragon, super deserved!!! Dream is clearly the manhunt pro and it is not even close

like.. now that nerves are settled and i can breathe again, dream truly is so fucking skilled bro. u could see how much more equipped he was to handling stuff on the fly than dquavis

the way the og hunters *know* dream, know his voice and the slightest nuances of his speech, to the point where he has to adjust every time to make them fall for a trap or just to shake them during a chase. even the traps are specifically set on both sides to fit dream or the hunters, playing to their skillset or against the other. it was blaringly obvious that daquavis has yet to have that sort of knowledge.

YES okay that’s exactly the vibe I was imagining, I just don’t know that many dog breeds :p

maybe I missed it so sorry if so but what kind of dog is steve in the selkie au? :) I know there’s a lot of huge dog breeds so my imagination is something like a newfoundland except white instead of black- the fluff feels essential -dreamerlynx

i just think it's really fitting for him! like, huge fluffy white dog with a black nose. plus they're just really great dogs in general. i'm not a dog person at all but i love these guys. <3 <3
