Also sorry for being quiet again. We uh... we've been busy.

We had hoped to make a life in the US after getting married but...we need to leave. ASAP. Neither of us feel safe in this country anymore and all hopes of getting a Greencard were dashed away since Hitler 2.0 paused applications for latinos indefinitely. So even though we did everything right and spent all that money to do it all legally, it's over. So we're preparing to self deport before she (and honestly probably me too because I'm black) gets detained. We saw what they do to females in detainment centers. Its... not good or legal, for that matter.

Anyway, off of that, we're going back to Ecuador permanently! We're trying to save up $10,000 so we can fix up the house! (But for now, we only need $3000 to move in.)

As a son to be ex-American, I obviously need a visa. So we reversed course. Since we're married, I can get a marriage visa in Ecuador. We basically have everything now, we just need to get the papers apostiled at this point. Then after that, we get the cat paperwork ready and we're off to go! We have the tickets and plan to leave in July.

Also, despite working overtime 24/7, we are still doing the comic. We just... only work on it one day a week now, hence the dramatic slow down. After we move, though, we'll be able to pick up the pace again since we won't need as much money. Ecuador is WAY more affordable than this shithole 😭

We are alive, January was just very busy because we needed to get 4k in 3 months to get a Greencard ASAP bc uhhh... well you know what's going on in the USA rn with Latinos so I won't get into that lol. But yeah we're about 800$ away now so February will be less packed which means we can start focusing on the AU again yayyy!
