A wave of tenderness is rushing through your body and you put your hand on his thigh, squeezing it gently. Shortly after you feel his warm palm against the back of your hand, the caress of his rough fingertips giving you tingles. Izzy quickly glances at you and smiles before concentrating on the road again, still holding your hand tightly. 

Almost dizzy with happiness, you look out the window at the snowy landscape flying by. “This will be the best Christmas in a long time” you think and snuggle into the car seat.
