I’ve been rewatching The Walking Dead recently, and I realised something that makes Beth’s death even sadder.
So when Beth and Noah were escaping the hospital, Beth allowed herself to be captured to give Noah the chance to escape. This was because Noah had told Beth about his family - his mother and two brothers.
She obviously didn’t expect Noah to come back for her, let alone with the group. When Beth was given the chance to go back to the group, she did, but at the statement that Noah had to stay with Dawn, she obviously pulled out the scissors and stabbed Dawn.
Which inevitably got her killed.
I believe that Beth knew she was going to die, and did it on purpose, to give Noah a chance to leave and find his family, because I believe Beth thought she had no family left to go back to.
When her and Daryl were on the road, they had their small fight where Daryl shouted, “you ain’t ever gonna see Maggie again”.
So when Beth heard that her group was there to get her and Carol back, and she didn’t see Maggie with them… she probably assumed Maggie was dead or that she would never see her again.
“You’re going to miss me so bad when I’m gone, Daryl Dixon.”
In season 2, after realising her mom was truly dead, she got suicidal and almost tried to kill herself. Then she watched her dad get beheaded, and got told she would never see her sister again. Therefore leaving her with no family left. I think in her head she confirmed this when Maggie wasn’t present at the trade.
So if she could give her life, in exchange for a chance for Noah to go back to his family, then she was happy to do so.
It’s just a shame that Maggie was outside because she left with Glenn to go with Abraham to Washington.

Avatar: Fire and Ash theory
Potential theory for the upcoming third film in the Avatar franchise regarding Neytiri and Varang:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So I’ve been looking into some of the stuff that James Cameron has been teasing about the newest Avatar film, and it seems he keeps hinting at how devastating the next film will be.
He claimed that his wife watched the film and had a very emotional reaction, and that she couldn’t stop crying for 4 hours. He’s claimed that audiences will be saying “Fuck, that’s not what I signed up for” when they’ve finished the movie, and has hinted that this film will obviously be a lot darker than the last two.
So obviously everyone’s first assumption is that someone else is going to die. While this may still happen, I just don’t think they would kill off another Sully member after the last one’s ending. Who knows, maybe Aonung or Tonowari will get killed off?
But I feel like those deaths wouldn’t be that devastating to leave someone crying for 4 hours and have everyone teasing how emotional the next movie is going to be. It may not be the loss of a character James was hinting at, but an emotional and spiritual loss instead.
My theory?
I think Varang and Neytiri are going to face off against one another, and Neytiri will lose, resulting in Varang cutting off Neytiri’s Kuru.
This would be the most traumatic, emotional loss that any Na’vi could go through. It’s already been hinted that Neytiri will get injured, and it’s been speculated that she will lose her arm, but what if it’s her kuru instead?
Varang has been quoted saying “your goddess has no dominion here” and Ronals quote to Neytiri from the last movie “it seems Eywa has turned her back on you” could be foreshadowing this as well.
This would ultimately mean: Neytiri will lose her entire connection to her home, Eywa, the spirit tree which would mean she could never see Neteyam, her father, or her sister ever again. She would never be able to bond with her ikran, or anything on pandora. Her connection would be completely severed.
They’ve already teased the image of Varang wearing a kuru necklace, and from memory, they cut a scene from the first avatar movie where Tsu’tey had his kuru cut off and it was described as a fate worse than death? Maybe they cut that scene out because they were going to use the idea in a later film?
I just think that would be the final nail in the coffin for Neytiri’s sanity - shes hanging on by a thread after Neteyams death, and this could be the thing that totally has her go off the rails.
I just think that would truly be the most shocking and absolutely soul crushing thing to happen to Neytiri, and I wouldn’t rule it out as a theory. It seems VERY possible to me and would change her whole dynamic. She could turn on Kiri and become envious of her connection to Eywa, she could turn her back on Jake, etc.
What do you think?

Everyone watched this scene and claimed “Rhaenyra would’ve never had to kill them if Alicent hadn’t made Aegon king” but she would’ve done it eventually either way.
The lords that follow Aegon see him as the true ruler because he is a man. The lords who follow Rhaenyra don’t even respect or listen to her as Queen unless Daemon, a man, is there.
When Rhaenyra was abed having a miscarriage, she ordered that no one do anything until she is back. Daemon then made demands and every single lord followed them, even after Jace told them not to listen to Daemon.
They also look to Daemon to lead. Not Rhaenyra. Every one of her lords sworn to her question her every decision, including her own son, and think of her as too weak to lead.
If Rhaenyra had been crowned Queen after Viserys had died, it wouldn’t have mattered what Alicent did or didn’t do. Rhaenyra would’ve eventually been “made” to kill Aegon, Aemond and Daeron to crush the ‘opposition’. Either from frustration or insecurity that transpires to anger.
If not Rhaenyra, then Daemon would’ve done it. He never liked the Hightowers or considered Alicents children his niece and nephews. He gladly had Jaehaerys killed and didn’t see a problem with it. Even if it was a so called “accident”.
Rhaenyra was right when she assumed that Daemon would’ve told Blood and Cheese, “if they were unable to find Aemond, then anyone would do”.
Daemon would’ve done the same thing to Aegon, Aemond and Daeron.

Like what was the change in writing or even directing between Season 1 and Season 2? What changed? Who’s been made to be in charge of this season? Who was wrongfully fired from season 1?

I wonder if the writers and directors watched episode 1 of season 2 and saw Jaehaerys on screen and just went “oh shit, we killed him off didn’t we? Oops” because it seems they’ve completely forgotten that his death even existed in the first place…

All the people who were so certain Vhagar was “stolen” from Rhaena by Aemond, because “well Vhagar would’ve accepted her if she were given the try! The dragons don’t choose! They just listen to whoever commands them!” have been real silent these last couple of episodes where dragon claiming was addressed.
Vermithor killing every single person who attempted to claim him except for Hugh because Vermithor chose him.
She almost died trying to claim Seasmoke as well who did not accept her as his rider but instead claimed Addam. Now we see (from what it looks like) Sheepstealer sort of calling to her in the Vale (like Seasmoke did to Addam) meaning that will be her dragon.
Because again… the dragons have to actually ACCEPT the rider as well. Aemond did not steal Vhagar. He had as much right as anyone else to claim her, and he did, Vhagar accepted him. If Rhaena had tried, she most likely would’ve died.

Just coming back to this point I made before season 2. Well let’s just say this aged well!
I theorised that there are probably more people in Kingslanding who have white hair that aren’t royalty and this last episode (S2E7) cemented that theory.
Mysaria mentioning how many Targaryens would come to the pleasure houses and produce bastards, how she knows there’s a large population of small folk who would have Targaryen blood. Remember, that crowd that gathered to attempt to gain Vermithor was only the ones who CHOSE to come. There’s probably a lot more in Kingslanding.
Also season 2 Aegon really doesn’t seem like the type that would find joy or pleasure in watching children bite and scratch each other. Like I know he was a bully, and raped the maids (disgusting), but he hasn’t actually shown any other form of violence apart from when he was beating blood (to be fair, his son was just decapitated so I’d say that anger is justified)
Out of all the Targaryen men who are still alive - the ones with white hair - he’s probably the least likely to find joy in that.
They would’ve made a bigger deal out of it this season if it was actually him. We all know they love showcasing the flaws of TG whilst avoiding TB flaws. The fact they haven’t could either be another one of their shitty loose ended plot points that they forgot about, or it wasn’t his bastard nor did he attend the fighting pits.
Do you guys think that the narrative about Aegon being in the child fighting pits is true? Genuine question.
In episode 9, I feel like the writers put in the whole “find Aegon scene” to hint that no one cares enough to know where Aegon goes on a day to day basis. The fact both parties spent the whole day trying to find him suggests they don’t actually know him well enough.
Ser Arryk claims the fighting pits is where Aegon goes, but yet when Otto approaches him and asks where Aegon is that day, he shrugs and says that Aegon commanded him to stay - which I’m going to take a guess and say this is something that happens often.
Ser Arryk claims that Aegon spends many nights watching the fights hence the reason they go there to find him, but he’s not there. So did Arryk really SEE Aegon there? Or did he just assume that’s where he spent his time?
Mysaria hides Aegon as sort of a favour to negotiate with Otto to put an end to the fighting pits… but if Aegon frequently went there, why would she help him?
Aegon also doesn’t seem to be the type that gets excited and hyped at the thought of violence. In episode 8, when Daemon slices Vaemonds head off, he just kind of frowns and grimaces at the blood. Apart from the Dyana scene - which I would say is the product of his own environment yet no less wrong or disgusting - he’s never committed or been seen enjoying violence at all.
As for the bastard with white hair… I’ve been hearing a lot of theories that this could also actually be Daemons bastard and not Aegons.
He frequented the brothels more than Aegon and it would be highly likely that he would have bastards too. We know from the books and the show that Daemon preferred virgins, and ones with silver hair too.
Mysaria also tells him in the first episode: “I could bring in a maiden, perhaps another, I could even arrange one with silver hair” - this suggests that the royal family are not the only people with white hair in the whole of kingslanding. I’m sure that a few bastards are roaming the streets sired from years of Targaryens dabbling in brothels.
This child could be Daemons with another woman, Daemons with a silver haired maiden, it could be a child born by someone else that is a bastard of the Targaryen’s.
But let me know your thoughts. If you have something that combats this thought entirely, maybe like a line where he admits it or something else please share. Please remember I try my hardest not to reference the book in my posts because they are two different things so if your ‘evidence’ is entirely based on the book, please don’t share in reference to this post lol.

Team Black Logic:
“Rhaenys was an idiot for not retreating back to Dragonstone after taking down Sunfyre! She didn’t have to die by facing 2 dragons” 😤
“Aemond is such a coward for fleeing after he saw 3 adult dragons on Dragonstone!”
I’d say Aemond was able to scout and saw what Rhaenyra was doing. He can now better prepare for the coming battles as Larys refused to tell him about seasmoke. He knows his strengths and knows Vhagar can’t win against 3 adult dragons no matter how big, so he turned around. Why does that make him a coward?
He was atleast bold enough to fly all the way to Dragonstone unlike Rhaenyra sending Baela to “scout” the nearby areas of Kingslanding. So how does that make him a coward?

I have seen the same claim made every week that Episode # is “the best episode yet” and is being ranked as the best in the season thus far…
They say this every week. They’ve now, once again, claimed that episode 7 is the best episode of the season thus far.
So what do we think? Is this the same shit tactic where they hype up the worst most boring ‘same shit different week’ episode by trying to gaslight everyone into thinking it’s good? Or do you think they are telling the truth this time?
My guess is it’s just going to be more chatting, talking, preying, frowning and blandness, where they cut off exciting scenes to show you 5 extra minutes of some random conversation that adds nothing to the plot whatsoever.
I guess we’ll see…

Can we just take a second to appreciate the scene with Alicent and Gwayne talking about Daeron?
“My son Daeron… what is he like?”
“He is kind”
Alicents little smile and the hope in her eyes when Gwayne is describing the son she can’t see…

House of the Dragon Season 2 Finale Predictions
Spoilers below
I’ve been thinking this all week and this most recent episode has made me believe even more…
I think the ending of season 2, will be the Battle of the Gullet and it will end with Jace dying. This will compliment season 1 and they could do a direct parallel, ending with Rhaenyra being told the news that Jace is dead along with Viserys II (presumed).
This episode alone, Aemond mentioned his plan “we will make an alliance with the Triarchy” who later fought against the Velaryons blockade (also mentioned this episode multiple times) and succeeded in killing Jace and capturing Viserys.
Jeyne Arryn mentioning how Prince Reggio will be “most pleased to shelter Rhaenyra’s youngest sons in Pentos”. Of course we know that’s where they were sailing when they were attacked.
We saw Aegon with Stormcloud finally this episode, and know that he had escaped on his dragon to fly back to Dragonstone once his brothers were attacked. Although I have to admit, Stormcloud appears to be very small still and so are Aegon and Viserys which makes it hard to believe Aegon could fly him back to Dragonstone. So maybe a time jump between episodes?
This episode also led up to the dragon seeds (well at least 1) claiming their dragons and I’m sure in the next episode we’ll see the rest of them.
We only have 2 episodes left, one of which will be the last of the season and they have to go out with a bang. That’s why I feel they will end with Rhaenyra once again being told that her oldest son and heir, as well as her youngest son are both dead. Similar reaction to Luke’s death but more anger and fury this time.
They could even end with a single line of “we’re going to take kingslanding” and finish the season. With Rhaenyra’s faces, flooded with tears and anger.
This whole season she’s been patient, hesitant to act, but maybe Jace’s death will remind her that she’s already losing everyone around her and the time to act is now.
The dragon seeds may be sent to watch over Aegon and Viserys, and maybe word of the attack reaches Rhaenyra, and Jace may overhear and fly out to help. It could be his own guilt from not being able to save Luke that drives him to protect his two youngest brothers.
Then the hype for season 3 will begin to build (after this shockingly bad season 2), they’ll have Daerons introduction, the fall of Kingslanding, Heleana jumping, the storming of the Dragon Pit, and finally (might have to squeeze it in) the Battle above the Gods Eye…
I’ve already heard some rumours that they’re going to completely trash the timeline of season 2 and have the fall of Kingslanding in this seasons finale, which I think would be absolutely appalling. This is a much better way to end the season I feel.
What do you think?
I also just saw the trailer to the next episode: Dragon seeds walking down the beach, seen approaching 2 boats… there’s also a shot of Jace walking towards camera after staring at 2 dragons fly away in the distance…

Jace and Rhaenyra speaking of who should claim a dragon and ride it on their side…
“Rhaena?”
“Who nearly lost her life in her last attempt?”
I’m sorry, am I missing something? When was Rhaena’s last attempt!?
