“Aren’t you the cutest!”

Sophie cooed at her Slowpoke, who was sitting in the middle of a Pokémon clothing store on one of the dressing tables. His overly enthusiastic trainer dashed around the table, eagerly observing him from all angles and taking lots of pictures to send to her hubby for approval later.

“No matter what you wear, my little Dexi-poo will always be adorable!”

The professor continued talking to the Pokémon, only getting a blank stare in return as usual. With all her fawning over Dexter she had no idea she was hogging the entire table, so it was a bit of a surprise when she saw another person walking up to her.

“Yes? Can I help you?”

Dream Eater | Burnet & Lillie

Burnet hastily moved from one desk to the other, collecting all the required forms she’d need to start that afternoon’s therapy session with Lillie. As much as she was sure she’d be ready on time, for some reason time slipped away faster than she realized and now she was late-

You know, just the usual. 

Carrying Dexter, her Slowpoke, under one arm, and a bag filled with all kinds of papers and other stuff she’d need in a moment, she hastily made her way to the entrance of the Dimensional Research lab. They wouldn’t be using her usual office after all, but a new one set up specifically for dream-related therapy.

Once she hopped off the elevator she already spotted the blonde from across the room, waiting for her to arrive.

“Lillie!” 

Burnet called out, almost dropping her bag onto the floor in an attempt to wave at the girl. Guess she’d wave later... Instead she hastily walked over, a goofy smirk on her face.

“Hope I didn’t make you wait too long! I kinda forgot the time, hahaha!”
