there isn't a single universe where The Joker and Harley have stayed together. that couple is always incredibly toxic, and usually ends in either violence or Harley finally leaving (with help from Ivy and her friends).

the one "exception," as in, a universe where Joker and Harley aren't toxic for each other, is one where Joker is openly gay. While they're still Supervillains - so obviously, things aren't peachy - they stay friends long after Harley finds her own villainous path.

I’ve always known that huntress was underused in the Harley Quinn movie, but after watching Kate I now think Huntress and Mary Elizabeth Winstead was just straight up wasted in that movie. I’ve always liked her as an actress, but a lot of things I’ve seen with her has her as a supporting character. She is lead role material and deserved so much more than that movie gave her. I sincerely hope the sequel to Birds is true WITHOUT Harley cause all of them deserve a real movie. Unfortunately I’m 100% sure they’ll use Batgirl instead of Oracle, or use an able-bodied Oracle, or make Oracle a villain cause that continues to be the brand they want for Oracle.

I mean not to get off topic, but how long we really expecting Cass and Steph to be leading the Batgirls book with Babs going by Oracle when they about to release a Batgirl Babs movie. Especially if Batgirls doesn’t sell well. Idk we’ll see I guess.

Anyway point of this is that Harley Quinn movie did damn near nothing for the Birds of Prey and I hope the upcoming Black Canary movie and hopeful proper Birds movie can right some serious wrongs in that regard.
