Currently Reading: From Here to Eternity by Caitlin Doughty. One of my favorite nonfiction books I’ve read it many times. I recommend it to anyone curious about the uniquely (bad) American mortuary practices.

I was gonna reblog so my genius #Cloudiataker mutuals could get on it,

but I want to include the fact that I’ve NEVER seen him let the head of the scythe *graze* the ground. Even his figure was designed so that the skull was not resting on the display.

This doesn’t necessarily make the skeleton itself important (as he treats his medical model in the parlor with a similar amount of care), but it is worth mentioning how careful he is with such an apparently sturdy weapon. [[Especially at the end of BoA, when he turns the scythe so that the skeleton is facing him.]]

As for the anatomical stats:

Since Undertaker is 6’ 1”- his scythe is approximately 7’ tall, which would make the skeletal head and torso 2ish feet.

These are accurate proportions for a female skeleton of Cloudia’s fanon height of 5’8”. One issue I would have with it is that I figured Cedric would want the whole skeleton. If this is his way of keeping track of her remains or immortalizing her where would the rest be? He is proven to be an idealistic and obsessive character.. so where’s the rest of the skeleton tho 😅

I like OP’s theory, but we need the experts on this.

For all the black butler people and people who know of the undertaker being the grandfather theory, we've all seen his scythe and seen that it has a skeleton. Now I'm not far in the series so please tell me if there's any reasoning behind him having the skeleton on his scythe. Thank you

So after seeing the undertaker grandfather theory, my idea was that the skeleton used in undertaker's scythe is Claudia Phantomhive's. This is mainly because of her dying young and my idea was that he was grieving far too much over this and decided to keep her skeleton or something. It also makes sense having access to corpses because of his funeral parlor and the real ciel thing (assuming that he had the funeral parlor thing going on before undertaker and Claudia would've been together)

This is just a silly theory that probably isn't true but I needed somewhere to actually say it💀

Put some images below here, in my opinion the skeleton on his scythe looks a bit more delicate(idk how to describe it) indicating it belonged to a female but then again all skeletons probably look the same

Pride month does not need to end here- disability pride and awareness does not only exist now. Take this opportunity to learn, allies and disabled folks. Stay safe everybody, it’s going to be a struggle in the states. Healthcare across the board is being challenged and/or revoked. Now is as good a time as ever to study up on your rights and benefits as a disabled person.

Some things I’ve learned in twenty-one years of Type One Diabetes Miletus and the chronic illness bingo-card (aside from the outrageous price of Novolog) is that being disabled does not necessarily mean that your opportunities are limited. I’ve lost Military career paths just because of my diagnoses, and art would not be a financially stable career to start with, but there are other things out there!

Another: claiming disability is not something to be embarrassed about! When I was younger I assumed that claiming disability meant the end of me proving my ability to work as hard or harder than able-bodied persons. You can still work on disability— it’s can be used as supplementary income. Check with an advisor to see how you can make disability benefits work for your specific needs.
