When you get excited to use the dremel. . . . . So @skaraudioofficial 8in drop wont fit. The magnet wont clear the oem mounts. Finally get to use the dremel I bought months ago. Front speakers on permanent 🔇 . . . . Got the new headunit in and guess what...no sound in the front speakers...safe to say they are pretty much burnt toast. Had an adventurous time popping off the door panels...So the oem setup is 8" lower and 1" upper tweeter. I can hear the music👂🎶 . . . . Can you see me now? 📹 . . . . Celica still in the shop (no diagnosis yet). So...I'm just planning on all the mods I'll get to once the Celica is back. An upgrade to the rear view mirror was a given. A plus to this setup is...it doubles as a dash cam...this will involve running power wire and a tap since the stock mirror doesn't have any lights...let alone power anything. Another plus...this also has a rear view camera...which will be a separate wiring and mounting task. Audio upgrade 💭 . . . . So...while the Celica is in the shop to find out the electrical issue...im sitting here thinking on what my audio setup should be. The Carrozzeria is having issues...I can't seem to get any response from any of the buttons or remote...so looks like it'll be replaced. Plates . . . . 🏳🏳🏳...I gives. . . . . So...im throwing in the towel on trying to figure out the gremlin thats bugging my electricsl system. On a referral, dropping her off at #RyansAutoRepair in Plymouth for a diagnosis...and since im here...might as well get a multipoint done...just so I know everything....like a new radiator and possibly new head unit. I'll keep ya posted on the diagnosis later this week. The Carrozzeria works 📻 . . . Finally got the headunit working...well powered on. The big electrical issue is only 50% solved. Still have the issue of everything connected to fuse 6 not functioning since the fuse.pops immediately😮‍💨. It's alive...alive!! . . . . Haven't had much 1on1 time with the Celica...but some cooler tempts allowed me to finally get the head unit working! However, a learning curve is ahead since it's all in Japanese. And unfortunately, I still haven't solved the Fuse 6 issue. These need a LED retrofit. . . . . In my quest to find what's popping fuse 6 here...I pulled the interior lights...I kept them out since I'll retrofit an LED board in here. And we have a wiring issue. 🤦🏽‍♂️ . . . . Really wanted to check out thus Pioneer Carrozzeria headunit...but alas...no power. Checked the fuse for the radio (20amp) no break...could it be a fused to the headunit? But I found the culprit with 10amp fuse ...which explains the no power to any interior lights, clock and thr trunk light...it pops when the car is off. A moment of silence for the sacrificial 10amp fuses.
