Some more #progress shot from this piece. It’s funny how sometimes you start something, and then completely change your mind about it! I have so many pieces like this one, where I just started, and then gave up on then. This one for example, I just covered up with white acrylic painting. Very sad now to think about it! Cause looking back, this would be a nice piece to finish. But sometimes you need those to develop your style, to evolve as an artist. So.. The weather looks so strange today here in Arizona! We started with a dust storm that turned into a rain! Go figure! And now it’s just very humid! In some other circumstances I would hate it.. but if feels really nice to change up of the heat dry routine! This is the perfect weather to stay in and do some reading. I change my mind a million times until a piece is complete! 😆 I think is important to let yourself play with your #artpiece and figure out how much you can explore. What works and doesn’t work for you. It is thanks to my many erros and tries that I figure out where to go with every single piece, and ended up learning so much along the way. I stretch myself and my abilities. And although often times I waste a lot of time, I don’t think is time wasted. Yes.. my pieces often times take longer than I would like to, but I learn so much from every single one of them because I’m not afraid to screw up or try new things. It can be very liberating! 😊 Are you like that too?
