It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Share and donate as much as you can.

#i read a piece about how disability is seen through capitalism#focusing on the things we cannot do and how much money it would cost to integrate our needs into the workforce#it's less about helping us with equity and more about trying to squeeze labor and money out of us with the least amount of “adjustments”#a good society would not help us only to benefit the rich - it would help us because we are people

from one chronically anxious person to another: the world is not going to go up in flames. What happens will be more slow, more bureaucratic, more boring. There is no catastrophe to end all catastrophes, no rapture, no sudden end. You can't give into the call of the void, because there is no void. So you just have to do the work to make tomorrow a better place, anyway. Because that's how it gets better.

You’re probably gonna feel a lot of feelings tonight and in the next couple of days. Don’t make any massive life decisions until the initial feeling of dread has passed you. I’m making this post for myself as well as others. If possible wait until your head has cleared before you operate heavy machinery

🍉🍉Please do not ignore our suffering. My name is Salman Halas from the afflicted Gaza Strip. I was displaced from the northern Gaza Strip to Az-Zawaida in the central governorate. We are now in tents. Our situation is very miserable. We do not have any of the necessities of life, neither water, nor food, nor medicine. We would not ask for donations except for our miserable circumstances. Donate to me as much as you can and be sure that your donation, no matter how small, contributes to saving us. If you are unable to donate, share my campaign.🍉🍉
Salman,
I will be sharing this every way I can. I refuse to look away, and i know you will make it through this. thank you, bless you, i will think of you every day 🍉🍉🍉
سأشارك هذا بكل طريقة ممكنة.
أنا أرفض النظر بعيدًا، وأعلم أنك ستنجو من هذا.
شكرا لك، بارك الله فيك، سأفكر فيك كل يوم 🍉🍉🍉
i encourage anyone reading to share this to show support, and donate if you can!

Peace be upon you.. Please do not ignore our suffering...

My name is Salman Hell from the destroyed Gaza Strip...

My family consists of many children, women and elderly people and we are suffering from horrific conditions.. Our house was bombed in the northern Gaza Strip and we were displaced to the southern Gaza Strip to Al-Zawaida and the family was scattered in tents and shelters in the central camps...

The conditions are very tragic as children suffer from the spread of diseases and the elderly suffer from difficult conditions and lack of treatment...
There is no water, no food, no electricity in the Gaza Strip...

We would never ask for help and donations but the miserable conditions in the Gaza Strip forced us to do so ...
For more than a year, we have been oppressed and persecuted in the Gaza Strip, and we have been subjected to violent, barbaric bombing...
I appeal to the people of human conscience and the free people of this world to help us.
Your help, no matter how small, means a lot to us because it contributes to saving us...
Please donate to us or share my campaign On your blog and for your friends...
This campaign is legitimate and I am ready to provide all evidence...
