minewtweek2025 : Reincarnation AU you are like the moon illuminating the night sky.

posting my contribution to the minewtweek2025 separately because I really like it and want it on my blog :)

I had a lot of fun designing Minho's outfit, I mainly took from Lee Dong Wook's appearance in Tale of the Nine Tailed.

Minho is the god of the night sky and Newt is the god of the moon (you can tell I did not have any energy left into designing Newt's outfit lmao lol)

Inspired by the Moon representing lie/half-concealed truth in tarot arcanes (or something), and so we and Minho only see one side of Newt's face... And at the same time they are as inseparable as the moon and the night, in every universe. The stars are in Minho's eyes.

Hello everyone, Kestis here to announce the end of Minewt week for this year. I wanna thank everyone who participated and created the amazing works for this year. (っ'ヮ'c) You guys are really talented.

Hello! I'm here to give a couple of announcements:

❀ Last day of submission: just here to remind you guys that your last day to send all your information and upload your fic (if applicable) to the Ao3 collection before the event is today. I already got some, but in case someone hasn't sent their stuff, please do it so I can have everything ready.

❀ The Minewt week will be celebrated earlier: Due to some personal things that I have to do during the week that I had planned, I'll move the event sooner during July. The week will begin from the 30th of June to the 6th of July, and the winner from the raffle will be announced on the 7th! Lastly, the banner art of Summer Newt will also be sent to those who participated in the event on the same day of the raffle.

Minewt week announcement!

◝(ᵔᵕᵔ)◜ Hello, Kestis here, once again to give you guys more news about the event.

Just like I said, this will be the schedule for the event (with some minor changes):

I just thought I would give you guys a few more days to submit your assigments (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) I know that life can get in the way sometimes. ( ´･･)ﾉ(._.`).

Now, how will the event work? On march 10th, I will post the link to the google form that you guys will use to register to the event. Everyone who fills in the form from march 10th to may 20th will be able to participate in the event.

⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝ Now, for what you guys have been waiting for. The prompts this year are-drumb roll, please....

All the previous prompts will appear in the google form where you guys will be able to pick them for the event and that I'll later post here in the blog. Now, how will you do it?

The Rules for the Event this year are the next:

1. fill in the google form to participate (even if you won't do a fic and will instead stick to just moodboards/arts.)

2. Pick up to three prompts to fulfill.

3. OT3's as well as second pairings are allowed, but the main pairing for each fic must include Newt and Minho.

4. In case the prompts for this year are not enough or you guys think of one you really want to do that is not part of the list, then you can add it in "other" and claim it as one of your three prompts.

5. Any rating + topic allowed-but tag properly and add any warnings if needed! these warnings will be also added once I post them on tumblr.

6. Explicit submissions are only allowed from adults and must be tagged as such.

7. Moodboards/fanarts and any other form of media can also be submitted along with the fics or by themselves.

8. All works must be finished and posted to the Ao3 collection by the 25 to 27th of june and you must email me the details (Tumblr username/Title/Rating/summary/prompt being fulfilled) of your submission to minewtweek@gmail.com for the posting week.

All works will be posted and revealed during the week of the 21st to the 27th of july here in the blog.

Finally, and as a reminder, all those who subscribe and fulfill their prompts will immediately win a Summer Newt header that I'll let you guys download through a link once the event is over (Here is a sneak peak of how it looks) and on the 28th, all those who participate will enter a raffle. The winner will get a half-body fanart of Newt or Minho of their choosing (that I will try to fulfill as fast as I can(ᵕ—ᴗ—).)

Medicine in the Glade: aka medjack headcanons from an irl medjack (part 1/?)

Jeff really did get the job by chance. He wasn’t part of the initial insertion group, but was the only one who took charge when people started getting injured on a regular basis

Clint was the first Greenie who actually seemed interested in what passed as medicine in the Glade. Everyone else didn’t have the patience or the stomach for it

They submit asks into the Box for actual medical supplies on a regular basis but are consistently denied

WCKD gives them the bare necessities: aspirin, gauze, sutures, and bandages

They use Gally’s brew as a rudimentary antiseptic and cleaning agent for suture needles and other instruments

Through a lot of trial and error, they discovered honey’s medicinal uses and use it for wound care

Despite his wishes, Clint has never had the opportunity to amputate

They’re both rather strict on hand hygiene while in the med-hut or when doing wound care

They really truly are trying their best

I’ve been thinking about these for ages, if anyone wants more let me know! Sometimes I can’t turn healthcare brain off and it seeps into everything 😅

Minewt week 2025

Hello! Kestis here, once more as your host for the event this year.ヾ(＾ ∇ ＾). It's now 2025 and while is still not time for Minewt Week yet, I'm preparing some stuff to make the event better for everyone this year around.

Considering the number of other events going on in the fandom and the goal being making Minewt Week better this year, I thought about making this post to see the best time for the event this year, as well as get your input on the prompts you guys would love to see.

That being said. I'll leave a Google form below that I would appreciate everyone interested could fill out so I can gather as much information as possible and hopefully bring you guys an update in the following months. Since I'm planning on doing the event during the summer (June-September.)
