related to that: having short hair, weird pronouns, a boy's name and only wearing boy's clothes my entire last year of high school and still insisting to myself there was no way I could be trans.

getting duped by the lesbian masterdoc halfway through 11th grade. no, you don't have "comphet". you're just an egg who doesn't know why the idea of being a woman in a relationship with a man makes you so uncomfortable.

being fascinated with drawing boobs/sexy women as a preteen and still thinking I was completely cishet until I was about 15.

getting a strange sense of feeling left out every time a trans-related post would cross my dash then dismissing it thinking it was absurd or that I just wanted to be part of the in-group.

the classic "why am I so obsessed with mlm couples oh no I must be misogynistic or some kind of gross fujoshi" with the added twist that after discovering the masterdoc I rationalized this as me viewing this as a "safe" romantic fantasy because I "wasn't attracted to men". girl.

the time a terf on here left a hate comment on my post saying i was bisexual and not a lesbian. like. they were right. just probably not in a way that would make them happy.

the fact that after I realized I was trans I went from masculine woman to androgynous man except that means my current chance of getting gendered correctly by a stranger is close to zero. cruel cruel irony indeed.

i think one of the reasons i get mildly annoyed about worldbuilding threads that are 200 tweets of why you should care about where blue dye comes from in your world before saying someone is wearing blue is that so few of them go up to the second level of "and that should impact your characters somehow" - i don't care that blue dye comes from pressing berries that only grow in one kingdom a thousand miles away if people are casually wearing blue

Hey, I know it's fun to make fun of Henry Kissinger. But you know what's even more fun? Donating to organizations that help undo some of the damage that Kissinger inflicted on various countries. Here's a couple of links!
