thinking abt my old "normal bastards" au where izuku bakugou and shoto were best friends doing best friend things like going on roadtrips and going over to each others' houses and goofing off and messing around and getting mad at each other and worrying about each other and having deep conversations in the late hours of the night about how much bakugou actually cares and how much that scares him because izuku is too selfless and shoto is too careless and izuku wishes he could be better for his friends he wishes he could be enough to stand by them because bakugou is so reliable and put together and shoto is so brave and admirable and izuku cant help but want to be great like that too it makes him a little jealous and he wishes he was a better person because good people dont feel jealous and shoto . im lightheaded
#one scene i had planned specifically was like#the three of them are staying at a hotel on a trip#and bakugou is out sitting on the balcony late at night#and midoriya comes out and sits with him#and it starts out with them goofing around with their usual routine banter#but then they slowly get actually serious#i think midoriya asks him why he sticks around him#and bakugou gets really mad hearing him put himself down like that#(while he's sort of adding fuel to the fire without realizing by complaining about how midoriya never looks out for himself)#and midoriya misunderstands the direction of his anger to the point where it sort of forces bakugou to start understanding Himself#and it's just like. this whole much-needed heart-to-heart sitting together on a tiny balcony#with their legs touching and the wind touseling their hair and their voices soft and sleepy but still harsh and caring as they try to figure#out how the other actually feels and how they see each other in their friendship#maybe a few confessions are made#maybe a few arguments are had#maybe it's messy and they're tired but they're doing their best to try and clean it up because they care about each#other too much to let it fester#maybe they hate each other but they love each other too much to let that get in the way#and then another scenario i had was them going over to midoriya's house and he's just laying on the floor in a tortilla blanket#but anyway#bnha au#fic rambling#tododekubaku#i couldve articulated all this better but imbso. tire
