Do you ever feel like your writing or your way of talking feels like if you're in a car and you keep lurching forward and hitting the brakes and then lurching forward and then jerking on the brakes etc

Finding joy in the little things: throw on a fancy dress and spin around the house for ten minutes instead of waiting for an occasion to wear it — go wander through a garden for an hour and take photos of every pretty flower you see — turn the music up when you clean and take regular dance breaks without worrying about who will see you — buy a box cake mix and go wild with decorating it (I like making cupcakes) — sing in the shower — do some colouring and, if you worry about getting the colours wrong, make photocopies and colour the same thing six times

I find life to very so much better when I take the time to enjoy the little things. They’re like the scaffold holding up the big things, and support my efforts in pursuing bigger joys.

(Also, labelling your to do list as ‘daily quests’ ‘side quests’ and/or ‘main scenario quests’ make them sound much more fun)

Im a broken record at this point but please please please. Do not let this world make you so hard and hopeless and negative. Please let yourself experience joy when the opportunity comes to you

I need to know how much you guys sleep. I sleep for an average of 8-10 hours every night (I go to sleep at 9:30/10 and wake up at 7 usually). I can function on six hours, though.
