Hosea isn't a manipulated child. Hosea was a full grown man even when he met Dutch. Older than Dutch even. Just because he spoke about how "dutch would get them all killed" doesn't justify the fact that he did nothing to stop it in the end.

People giving Hosea a free pass because we see him as a trustworthy and reliable person in rdr2. R* portrayed him THE parental figure for Arthur.

And like i said in previous posts; Dutch is seem as the bad bad man who did bad bad things. As if that was all that made him Dutch.
