Group Therapy

While the Duskwatch Saberguard met to discuss their stress and feelings over my beloved Nightmare realm.. they didn’t realize they were being watched. I will admit that I loved hearing all of their pain. They even dared to give me more fuel for the fire!

Perhaps you should check more than weapons at the door, dear Adheles.

Welcome to my realm!

The dear Duskwatch Saberguard decided to try and interrogate my former necromancer. I doubt they got far with that. Enjoy the information she gave you.. I’m sure it’ll be a great help!

My team attacked but when it seemed things were not going in my direction, I pulled them into my realm: the Nightmare. There is nothing better than seeing them all fall around me, unconscious and sharing the same horrible encounters. It made me so excited that I even visited them inside of the visions.

Checking the mailroom of the estate had become quite the chore for the ambassador these days, for she never knew what sort of dreaded parcel might await her there. For the past several months, Seilune had deceived dozens of letters from an unknown address, signed only with the letter ‘D.’ Cryptic in nature and more akin to riddles than prose, they made threats on the safety of herself and others, and were usually attached with some accursed object that was morbid in nature.

It had become part of the woman’s daily routine at this point. Wake up, get dressed, and read a creepy letter. All part of a balanced breakfast. But while it was mundane, the receiving of these correspondences still put Seilune in diress, and after discovering that the little game her pursuant had been playing had been reset, she had even more reason to worry.

A scowl began to twist at her countenance the moment she set eyes on the envelope, apprehension pulling at her gut as she carefully unsealed it with a letter opener. What would it say? Would an object be enclosed inside? A finger? Hair? Shell? It could be anything.

With hesitance she slipped her nimble fingers inside, half expecting to be met by some foreign substance that would be offensive to all five senses, a faint sense of relief washed over her as periwinkle fingers took hold of the folded parchment from within.

Part of her didn’t want to read it, to instead ignore his little antics just this one time and for once start a day on a high note. But that would be too simple. Likely he would find out and then retaliate in some manner, hurting Lady Emberfury, Adheles, Loviattar, or the Le Chevals.

She couldn’t live with such guilt.

Glowing eyes swept across the page once it was unfolded, noting every letter, word, and mark of punctuation, an unamused hum escaping her as she finished. Quite the wholesome letter compared to most she had received, refraining from talk of torture and kidnapping, but the cheeky tone it exuded still managed to annoy Seilune.

“Oh, how coy,” she muttered bitterly, her lilac hues nearly rolling into the back of her head.

She walked over to her desk, commanding it to open with a quick wave of an arcane infused hand, and from within she retrieved a folder filled with similar parchments.

“In with the rest of them you go.”

First order of business is dodge practice. Furniture does fly in her office...

I talked to @sentinel-lovi about joining the Duskwatch Saberguard and I got accepted!!

Nouvel’s going to be working as a secretary to the Captain herself haha and hopefully they’ll also do some combat training on the side
