I'm a HUGE fan of Old Bay as a flavor profile, I'm a big fan of seafood, I lived on the East Coast for ages. I had high expectations going into the last bag, considering it was mixing two things I adore.

It blew my expectations out of the water.

There is SO much seasoning on these. It's literally comparable to what you'd actually put on fish or shellfish. I almost want some lemon juice on them just to match that flavor. The texture being similar to oyster crackers for this series also works WONDERS here in a way it didn't for the other two. I'm probably gonna clean out half the bag with a tuna sandwich and some lemon juice tonight.

11/10, no further notes, beautiful work.

Today i received a gauntlet of limited-edition Goldfish flavors as a gift!

Spicy Dill Pickle next!! I love pickles themselves (local tgirl stereotypes herself into the sun) and I really like spicy food, but dill pickle flavoring tends to be pretty hit or miss for me.

I was kinda worried that they'd be really light on flavoring but opening the bag filled my face with a cloud of vinegar and dill.

The flavor was a bit strong on the vinegar, and it's another odd textural mismatch. The crackers are a bit less crisp than the standard cheese, so it's almost like eating flavored oyster crackers. There is some heat here, but it's all on the aftertaste, and is only really perceptible after you have a whole handful. (Mileage on heat may vary, of course. I've built a uh. A bit of tolerance.)

Pickle flavor is stronger than I expected, but they're ultimately enjoyable in small handfuls, so I think I'll call them 6/10

I tried the Awesome sauce one first because I had no fucking idea what that was. Looking at the ingredient list, I did see spices i liked (celery salt, cayenne, pepper), but I had no real idea what to expect.

Opening the bag was pretty pungent - smoky and tangy, but still really unfamiliar.

I ate a few and was really thrown by how fucking much they just taste like a hot dog. Like. literally just a fucking oscar meyer. It's SUCH an odd flavor to pair with a crunchy, kinda soft cracker. I still can't decide if I like it.

4/10 i think??

dont get mad at trans ppl for using the “wrong”/out of date terminology to describe their own experiences like

if a trans dude says “back when i was a girl” or “i was born in the wrong body” just. let them. if they feel it describes their experiences the best, then it’s good for them
