Some messy Omega!Subaru thoughts

I’ve always really loved that idea of omegas naturally suppressing their omega traits (like scents and heats) unless they subconsciously feel safe. Feel like it can lead to so many angsty opportunities like

Subaru’s real scent doesn’t come out until way later, maybe during that 1 year gap, and all the others characters realize that their friend they thought was a beta was actually an omega and on a primal level just hasn’t felt safe the whole time they’ve known them. I imagine Otto would lose his fucking mind in this scenario

Or after long enough the body just breaks down and enters an intense heat (potentially at a really bad time, maybe the tower) like full on feral behavior. And maybe because of Beatrice rather than it being a sexual heat it’s more along the lines of “keep myself and child safe at all costs” and he just whisks her away. Bonus humor points if he whisks away Meili too
