- In a recent storyline, Dylan's colleague Patrick tells him he's autistic and he's now only starting to look into being diagnosed as an adult. When he first got confronted about being autistic he took offence.

- When Dylan was first on the show his main characteristics were having a sharp and forthright personality and being a brilliant diagnostician.

- Doesn't do well in relationships and only lets in a select few into his personal life.

- Doesn't like people touching him.

- Only emotional attachment he had was to his dog and was heartbroken when his dog had to be put down.
