Who Am I? 

And why would you care? 

Hello, my name is John Shaw and my work at home business is changing my life.

 So, Who Am I?

 I am now well into my seventies and I live in Australia, which, by the way, just has to be the place God created for His own pleasure.

 I won't bore you with a history of my life suffice it to say that until I reached age 50 I was a senior executive for an Australian multi-national company.

 Why until 50?

 Well, when I turned 50, in 1998, my employer decided I was no longer needed.

 It came as a great shock to find myself on the scrap heap at only 50 years of age and the shock was even worse when I discovered that no-one wanted to employ a 50 year old.

 I did find work, as a part-time office cleaner, 2 hours a night, 5 nights a week.

 I was devastated!

 For the first time in our marriage of 25 years my wife went out to work and became the breadwinner with me just having a supporting role.

 I was grateful for that but far from happy so I started to seek a way to rectify the situation and my thoughts turned to the internet.

 Having had no formal training regarding either computers or internet marketing and no previous work at home experience I struggled for a number years, and spent a good number of dollars, on work at home systems and plans that just didn't work.

 Then in 2006 I built my first successful site called "The Discount Travel Guide", a travel site about Australia, and while I didn't make a fortune the site made money and I eventually sold it in 2010 as a going concern, ( the last time I looked it had been taken over by a Japanese organisation promoting "Cabaret Clubs" ?? )

 At that point I retired, at age 62, from the paid workforce and now I operate 3 web businesses, I "work" for just 90 minutes per day, my income is regular and if I didn't work today I'd still make money, in fact if I didn't work for a month, or for 3 months I'd still have an income.

 "Why are you telling me this"? I hear you say.

 Well, I realised some time ago that there are many others around the globe who, for one reason or another, are unable to adequately fund the lifestyle they would like to enjoy and, like me, would like to find a way to either supplement their current income or replace it altogether.

 Perhaps you're one of those, perhaps you've been "let go" because you're too old, perhaps the coronavirus has killed your employment, perhaps ill health or some other condition has placed you in that position, I don't know ..... BUT.....

 I can help!

 Why Do I Care?

 While I am fortunate enough to have never been poor I have been "broke" a lot over the years and it isn't a good place to be.

 I know that working a job, whether it's a well-paid job or something less rewarding, is still working for someone else and working for someone else has the tendency to make the "someone else" wealthy while those employed rarely achieve the monetary goals they dream of.

 I spent 30+ years on that treadmill only to be told, when I was in my fifties, that my services were no longer required.

 Early on in my unemployment I vowed that I would never subject myself to that possibility again.

 That's when I started my affiliate marketing journey.

 How Can I Help You?

 As I said above I spent more than enough money and far too much time trying to work out how to become successful at affiliate marketing.

 In my early days there was a lot of "teaching" available, much of which I listened to, there were no end of "systems" to help me make my fortune for a (not so) small fee, internet marketing "gurus" were everywhere offering their expertise if I joined this programme or bought that software and the only ones getting rich were those making the offers.

 I wouldn't say that they were all frauds, that would be just as wrong as me telling you they were all liars and thieves but many of the offers that were around at that time were as good as useless.

 Times have changed, the internet has matured, but there are still too many ways to spend your money for very little reward.

 That's where I can help.

 I have, over the past several years now, made a very comfortable living from affiliate marketing on the internet.

 I have gained some very valuable, and time (and money) saving resources which have helped me to do that and I would like to pass some of that on to anyone who would like to receive it.
