The commissions I've completed this week! ^.^
Been slowly becoming more experimental with how I work, particularly rendering; I feel like I've come to a point where I want a change in how my art looks so I'm trying to shift a few things around and see how that pans out. I'm really likely the direction I feel like I'm inching toward. :)
In the meantime, I'm damn-near done with my current large commission queue (just 2 left!) so I will be opening commissions again tomorrow for those interested! Keep your peepers peeled for the opening! ^.^

I hope you take this as a complement but I think you would have been a great artist during Bleach's "Arrancar" arc. I feel like if you were given the green light to draw characters in three separate states you would have a bunch of fun. The Hollow, Arrancar, and Resurrección forms... idk but it feels like it would be up your alley.
I do like monsters and monster forms! I've watched Bleach upward to the very first act; the one where Ichigo goes to save Rukia. And in highschool I had a friend who LOVED Bleach and drew i think a blue haired dude with his kitty paws a lot. But past that I couldn't get into the filler so i dropped it almost immediately afterward lol
I'll take it as a compliment, thank ya! 🤣

how would Bowser and the Koppa Kingdom fit in with your World Convention au?
If you type "Bowser" in the search bar of my blog you're likely to find the metric ton I wrote about him for the AU. xD
Here's a couple of links as an appetizer:
https://www.tumblr.com/earthnashes/659866743195500544/so-do-the-koopalings-still-have-their-castles-do?source=share
https://www.tumblr.com/earthnashes/657900774156861440/listen-listen-the-second-i-laid-my-eyes-on-your?source=share
That said? The "world convention alliance" timeline of the AU is considered "completed" and thus discontinued. I might write a synopsis of the old storyline as a final post for it, but I will be exploring a new story within the Super Mario world, so I will be focusing on that from here on!

A handful of the current commissions I'm currently working on! I just need to do 2 more rough sketches for clients before I'm ready to get to work on the next step: cleanup and linearrrrrrt!
As you can see all but one of them are comic commissions, two of which actually weren't supposed to be either buuuut got hella inspired so I made them a comic page anyway. Every now and then someone brings to me an idea I see in a sequence and I gotta draw it as such.
After these though, my comic commission option will be retired for a while. As much as I enjoy doing them, they're a lot of work and take me a long time to work on, and I've recently reached a point where it feels like I need to improve on my art before I offer them confidently again. ;w; But ye! Just wanted to show some WIPs of the commission work I currently have! :)

A whole bunch of patreon rewards I did, with a couple of them being from last year! TLDR: I offered custom rewards on my patreon and found out the hard way it wasn't really something I could practically do, and ended up with what I called "art debt" of overdue rewards. So I'm beyond pleased to say that a few weeks ago, I've finally finished ALL of the rewards that were overdue, aaaaaand I will never do anything like that again to say the least. xD
All things considered I'm pretty pleased with how they all came out. :> Thank you everyone who had a reward the patience you gave me to get them done! ;w;

A whole bunch of commissions I finished over the course of this month! I've been rather busy lately with larger commissions, but I have been producing fanwork and original work lately as well! :)
All of what I've been working on can be found on my Patreon! But for now, thank you all who've commissioned me! I still got a few left to work on, so I'll show ya'll the WIPs of some of them soon. ^.^

I want to say the idea of Skull Kids possessing their rotting body makes so much sense but I don't want to steal your ideas, and was wondering if you have any tips so I can figure out headcanons for the Kokiri and Skull Kids, like how they look and came to be??
When creating lore of any sort its a good idea to look at your subject and figure out what your goal is. Ask yourself what, exactly, are you trying to convey with their lore and their design?
For example: the Kokiri. They are children in the woods, created by the Deku Tree and guided by fairies in the game. I wanted something more supernatural, somewhat bittersweet, folklore-ish with them without losing their childishness, their connection to the Deku Tree, or their home being in the forest. That led me into the line of thinking: eternal children. What is eternal? Death. When one dies at a certain age, they "remain" that age.
How could I convey that in a whimsical way? I landed on faun: a fantasy creature known for their short stature, unique appearance, childlike behavior with a connection to nature.
Okay, so I have a basic design idea: fauns and death. How do I link those to the Kokiri?
Well: Deku Tree creates Kokiri. What if the Deku Tree does so by reviving the bodies of children who die in his forests? How does the bodies of a regular child morph into a faun?
He's a god tree. Why not have him utilize the bark of his roots to "rebuild" the body, so to speak? Gives the soul something alive to anchor to.
Then badabing. Thats essentially how I came to my headcanon design and lore for Kokiri. After that it was simple to connect the Skull Kids to them given their in-game significance to one another. If one is Rebirth, the other is Undead. Same chip, different flavor.
All that to TLDR:
1) brainstorm what you want from your lore. Ask yourself questions. What are you going after?
2) Think of things that are similar to what you're aiming at and how the idea is utilized there. Fairytales, myths, folklore, legends in the existing world. Now, apply YOUR world's logic and function to the idea you choose: what is your world's answer to that thing?
3) Play around with potential connections. Exhasperate or limit the connection as you see fit. Ex: Skull Kids in my headcanon are basically zombies, but not quite. What makes them similar, and what makes them different?
4) Get crazy. It's to do with otherworldy shit, it doesn't have to make perfect sense to work. It IS probably a good idea to ground the base idea of it in what is considered reality in your world though. Most legends are linked to real life experiences/things, explanations for things we may not know how to explain, so use that to your advantage. 👍

How do your commission prices, y'know, work? (long time luker btw. kinda really scared of everyone.) If I ask for another character to be added to my commission will it be considered another one?
Extra characters are indeed counted as... well. Extra characters! They add to the overall time it takes me to complete the commission and increases the difficulty of the commission, hence why it costs extra. :)

I hope you're alright with me asking, but what type of printer (I assume a Cricut of some kind) and sticker paper do you use? I mainly ask since the quality you're able to achieve is phenomenal, and the best stickers I've had thus far!
I'm completely fine with anyone asking about merch stuff! I ain't gonna gatekeep those resources :)
To answer: I don't print them myself! I'm not cemented enough in merch-making for me to justify buying the supplies needed to do so; instead, I use a company to print for me. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend https://stickerblitz.com/ for printing stickers; high quality, fair pricing, fast shipping, AND they typically give you more stickers than what you ordered as an additional free bonus! Nothin' but good experience with them. :)
I hope that helps!
Actually, this is for anyone who'd like access to any and all resources I use for merch:
https://trello.com/b/2akfWnk9/merchandise-resources
This is a list of resources our community has amassed thus far (trello board curated and organized by Kyrit!). It has a bunch of good stores and companies to use if you're lookin' to make stuff, including stickers, so give it a lil looksie! It'll be updated with new resources on occasion. :>

Have you ever heard of Julie Bell? She is also an incredible artist who is into bodybuilding just like you.She drew the famous Wolfenstein 3d cover of the main hero kicking a nazi while shirtless
This is the first time I've heard of her; she's really cool from the look-up I did! 👁👁
Though I don't bodybuild! My schtick is powerlifting; bodybuilding is an aesthetics sport and powerlifting is a strength sport for anyone curious, though they do overlap often. 👀

The final batch of commissions I managed to finish toward the end of March; you can find the owners of the characters and the commission types in the image descriptions!
That'll bring the total to about 15 commissions total, 3 of which were large comic comms. Very proud of the work I've managed to do over the course of March; I made quite a few changes to how I work as well as took the leap with new avenues, such as opening my discord publicly and starting work on my Wayfarers project. I'm hoping to keep this momentum going!
Thank you so much to those of you who commissioned me! ;w; If anyone is interested in a commission from me, I will be opening my Ko-Fi slots again relatively soon! You can keep an eye on them HERE :)

The commissions I've managed to finished over the course of March thus far! owo The comic comms in particular take me forever to complete, but I'm always very pleased with how they came out. uwu Actually, I've been real happy with my art recently as well! I hadn't really had a point in about a year where I've been unhappy with my work, but I feel like I've just been as happy as a cucumber with the recent ones. Probably cuz I've been trying out a few new techniques again; seeing a slight change in my art always triggers serotonin in me. xD
At any rate, I really appreciate ya'll getting a commission from me, thank you so much! ;w; More to come soon! ^.^
