East Stroudsburg has hosted many of the supernatural citizens going back to long before the college was built- and is where the Pocono Mountain Werewolf pack call their home. The pack is known as the protectors of the community. All of the citizens seem to know they exist- but keep their mouths shut. And all of the citizens know the pack does what they can to keep them safe. And it seems that nature itself gives back to the pack. It provides the members with the second half of their soul, the person who makes them whole. For the residents its normal, expected, and even a wonderful way to reward their protectors. Because werewolves, like their regular wolf kin, are bound to their mates for life.

Activity Task: The Curse Of Old Mag
Time Frame: 5 PM EST 4/27 until threads are finished Participation: Semi-mandatory (the event will impact the town but you do not have to have your character directly involved in anything if you decide not to- if you do decide to, how it plays with your character is up to you) Tags: Tag any entry to this as esrptask7 Description: Once upon a time, as the stories always go, there was a witch named Mag. Bitter and filled with resentment for the torments of her life she found upon settling in the mountainous area where East Stroudsburg would one day stand that she could not abide by the happiness of the town. Not of the foolish humans who were unaware that not all of the town was human; not the supernatural residents that blended in.
And so Mag set out to destroy peace in the little town. Villagers fell ill; livestock died; the weather became unpredictable and dangerous. So in an act of desperation to save their home and their human neighbors the supernatural beings of the town banned together and stopped her- putting her to death.
Upon her death she cursed the land vowing she would linger on and destroy happiness wherever it could be found. That no supernatural being there would ever know true peace or happiness. She would have her revenge- even if it came at a bloody price.
It’s a story that all supernatural children raised in the town have heard. A folktale; a boogeyman of their very own. Horror stories about what Old Mag was capable of; of the terrible things she had done; about her determination to rip away happiness from the supernatural community- how humans connected to the community are a favorite target.
The children grow up thinking these are stories told to scare them, to instill a sense of community within them. Most of them gave it no mind. They should have.
Because Old Mag is very real. And she has returned once again to bring chaos down onto their mountainous town.
No one is truly safe. Not the humans nor the supernaturals; no one is immune from her dark magic and few have the strength fight it.
Be aware, residents of East Stroudsburg. Because a ghost from the past has risen once more and she will have her due vengeance.
Even if the coin is pain and blood.
