#fbf In the begging of July our bakery, La Central Bakery, has been open for 33 years. My dad, who's also grew up in a bakery, has been making pan dulce for about 50 years. His whole life in other words. Growing up, I would spend my evening watching my dad decorate cakes or helping my aunt clean and acomodando el pan in the displays. Now a days, I'm the girl that you see in the evening sitting in my corner decorating, pulling stuff out of the oven, or at local pop up events in East LA. I first started decorating cupcakes for Valentine's Day at the bakery, and then I switched to making and decorating sugar skulls for fun. This is what lead me to get my pastry degree at LATTC.
