Getting Started - or how I got into fitness People always said to me “well you just have to get started” when I had issues with my body and my life in general when I was at the age of 14. Although I always knew that getting into sports would help me, it somehow took a long while to really enjoy it. What most people don’t get: often it’s not about just pushing through. It’s more about finding ways to truly enjoy this and not having to force yourself to go to the gym or the running track. This blog is trying to focus on showing ways to motivate and find new incentive for those, who feel like I felt a couple of years ago. Therefore, there are three things, I find very important to know and identify.
Key is knowing yourself or trying to know yourself better. It’s way easier to move and be active if you know what you’re into. If for example, you’re having a job that is in an office, you’re less likely to move during working hours.
Finding out if you’re more into individual or team sports. For some people, it’s easier motivate themselves if they have one or several training partners, some people (like me) prefer the focus if they’re are working out on their own.
Be open for new impulses. There are always new possibilities to burn calories. The more open you are, the more flexibility and possibilities you are going to indulge in. It’s not going to be monotone if you don’t let it be that way.
As you can see, a lot of times, fitness is also about reframing things. You can totally modify your perception on it if you approach it positively. This blog is going to show you ideas and motivational content - so stay tuned! :)
