Many people hate Bakugou trying to force trauma on Deku after being bullied in middle school. But everyone forgets that Deku never considered himself worse than Bakugou, and that he didn't give a shit about all of that. He, like a stubborn ram, saw the goal and didn't see any obstacles. I think out of the two of them, only Bakugou remained traumatized after middle school.
