Almost forgot to post this artwork I made for an exhibition which Tumblr’s going to absolutely destroy the resolution of.
I thought to get a bit experimental with the limited palette. The pink lighting gives the impression that it’s morning, though the light coming from the west suggests that it’s actually evening.
I love the expressions of the characters; the intensity of Loco’s, Akkoro’s notable departure from her usual confidence and Ben’s characteristically blissful lack of awareness, all contrasting against Dusky’s very subdued observation of the scene.
“Bystander to the Chaos”
She sure is.
