Birds and the Bees! Part 2( Henry, Rupert, and co.)
A/N: It's time for part 2 of this oneshot! And I wanted to write about how Henry and Rupert would interact now that they have a son.
Rupert and Henry entered the apartment, and Henry set Ricky gently down on the coffee table.
They both sat down on the couch to stare at their sleepy son. Ricky looked so peaceful. He was unaware of what was going on.
"Now what?" Henry asked.
"We have to get supplies for him," Rupert answered.
"What kind of supplies do we get?"
"Baby supplies, duh?"
Henry rolled his eyes.
Rupert looked up baby supplies on his phone while Henry kept staring at their sleeping son. Rupert got out a notepad and started writing a list.
"Okay, here's the list we need," Rupert said, handing the list over to Henry.
Henry read over the list and nodded in agreement.
"That's a lot," Henry said, looking at Ricky.
"A baby needs a lot," Rupert told Henry.
"Should we go get the supplies now?" Henry asked. "I mean, we need to get them before Ricky wakes up."
"Ya, but we don't know how to make milk for him and other basic stuff," Rupert replied, annoyed.
Rupert was right. They knew nothing about baby stuff.
"What should we do then?"
Rupert was about to answer when there was a knock at the door. Henry stood up and looked through the peephole. He saw Dr. V standing outside, holding a couple of bags. Henry opened the door and let Dr. V.
"Sorry, gentlemen, but I brought you supplies since you need them," Dr. V said, heading toward the living room and putting the bags down on the floor.
"Thanks, Dr. V," Rupert said, looking through the bags and marking down the items on the list.
"Also, here's this," She handed Henry a book, and Henry read the title.
'First steps into Parenthood'
Henry stared at Dr. V like she had grown two heads.
Rupert came over and took the book out of Henry's hands.
"Hey!" Henry protested.
Rupert opened the book and read it. Dr. V went over to check on Ricky, and he was still asleep.
"By the way, I checked how old he is, and he is 10 months old," Dr. V told them.
"10 months?" Henry said.
"Yes. When he wakes up, I want you gentlemen to see if he can stack items and recognize colors," Dr. V explained.
"Why?" Rupert asked, finishing the book.
"At ten months, infants usually sit up, stack items, and recognize colors," Dr. V explained.
As if on cue, everyone heard fussing.
Henry went over to the car seat and unbuckled Ricky.
Ricky kept fussing, and Henry smiled to try to calm him down.
"What's the matter, Ricky?" Henry asked softly, "Need a lift?"
Henry took Ricky and gently and carefully held him. Rupert and Dr. V were surprised by Henry's behavior.
"It looks like you're a natural, Mr. Stickmin," Dr. V noted.
"Huh? For some reason, kids are drawn to me," Henry said. He booped Ricky's nose, making him laugh in the process.
Rupert rolled his eyes as he went over to Henry. Ricky started fussing again, and Dr. V searched the bags to find a bottle and formula.
"Looks like someone is hungry," Rupert said.
Dr. V instructed Rupert on how to make a formula for Ricky while Henry held Ricky.
"It's done," Dr. V told Rupert. She handed the bottle to Rupert, and Rupert gave it to Ricky. Ricky grabbed the bottle and began drinking from it. Everyone was amazed by how quickly Ricky was drinking and how he managed to hold his bottle.
"Man, he's a fast eater," Rupert said, impressed.
"He also knows how to hold a bottle," Dr. V added, "Good."
Henry chuckled as he held the bottle a few feet away from his son's tiny hands. Ricky finished his bottle, and Henry took it away from him. Dr. V took Ricky from Henry and burped him. Then she sat down on the carpet and sat Ricky down beside her. She watched him to make sure he could sit up without needing help.
Ricky didn't fall over, but he did stare at everyone with a confused look on his face. Rupert and Henry joined them.
"He can sit up without needing support, excellent," Dr. V said happily.
She turned to the quiet soldiers who just stared at their son. She giggled at them. She brought out a set of blocks and gave them to Ricky.
"Gentlemen, why don't you try teaching him to stack and colors?" Dr. V suggested.
They both nodded slowly. Dr. V left them alone, saying she needed to get back to work.
After she was gone, Rupert and Henry stared at their son for a moment.
Rupert picked up a red block and put it in front of Ricky. Ricky clapped his tiny hands while smiling. Rupert's face softened, but he quickly covered his face with his hat. He looked over at Henry, who was covering his mouth. Rupert knew Henry was snickering, and he didn't like it.
"Don't. Say. A. Word." Rupert threatened.
"Sorry, Thorn," Henry chuckled, "I didn't know you were such a big softie."
"I'm not,"
"Are you sure?"
Rupert lifted his hand but dropped it as his eyes shifted toward Ricky. Ricky's eyes widened when he saw that his dad's hand was up and was aiming at his other dad. His eyes started to water as he whimpered. They immediately noticed this, Henry picked him up, and comforted him.
"Shhh, it's okay, Ricky," Henry whispered. He glanced over with a raised eyebrow, silently saying, "Right?"
Rupert nodded slowly.
Henry put down Ricky when he heard his son stop whimpering. Ricky stared at Rupert, Rupert smiled awkwardly at him, but Ricky quickly got scared. Rupert's face fell; however, Henry swiftly changed the subject.
"Look, Ricky," Henry pointed at a block. "This block is red."
Ricky smiled as Henry put it down in front of him and picked up another block. He showed Ricky a blue block and put it in front of him.
"Ricky, this is a blue block," Henry informed Ricky. Ricky looked at the blue block, then he glanced at his hand. He put his hand into his mouth and started chewing it.
Henry shook his head while he chuckled. He gently took Ricky's hand out of his mouth and put the two blocks in front of Ricky.
"Okay, Ricky, which one is the red block?" Henry asked, pointing to the blocks.
Ricky stared at the blocks, and he lifted his tiny hand and grabbed the red block. Ricky showed Henry the red block, and Henry clapped for him.
"Good job, Ricky!" Henry exclamied. "Now show me the blue block."
Ricky set down the red block and picked up the blue block.
"Good job, Ricky." Henry picked up his son and hugged him.
Henry was too busy to notice Rupert had not said a word or interacted with their son since they first arrived at the apartment.
Rupert wasn't looking at Henry or Ricky. His head hung down and stared at the carpet.
"I can't believe it... my son... is scared of me." Rupert thought sadly.
A/N: Been a while, huh? Sorry about that... A lot of things had happened, like vacation, college exams, and other real-life stuff.

Happy 5th anniversary The Henry Stickmin Collection
THSC has a lot of positive endings, doesn't it? Triple Threat has a classic happy ending, and Toppat Recruits and Special BROvert Ops are also good... There are many other wonderful endings for Henry!
...I wonder how everyone else except Henry feels about it.
(I'M SORRY I'M LATE AAAA-)

I missed last years, I sure as hell ain’t gonna miss this years

Fun fact there are 106 layers and my iPad crashed like 5 times when drawing this
Sidessssssssspeedpainttttt
Also do not ask who that govt guy is in the top left corner is who’s next to Rupert I literally put him as ‘rando’ in the layers
I have gotten obsessed with this game twice, once in 2021-2022 (I think) and another in April 2024 which has lasted all the way up to now. This game was maybe one of the best ones, I remember playing web versions on random corners of the internet when I was really small. This game means a lot to me, so I just wanted to say thanks to this community and to Puffballs United and the devs that worked on this game. I don’t think I would have even have posted art if it weren’t for this.
I guess I just want to say thanks for this beautiful game, and also hi reader! Thanks for clicking read more and reading my ramblings.

Another Rupert with trauma? Yes!
Survivor's Guilt [TW: POSSIBLE EYESTRAIN AND DEATH]
"What makes you so special?
What allows you to rise when everyone around you falls?
And ...
Do you blame yourself for it?"
People who say that Rupert's life got better after Henry broke out of prison don't understand what overcompensating or internal competition or probably extreme levels of guilt do to a guy.
Lowk a character analysis essay below cut, so if you're interest feel free to read lol:
Like be fr, yes, he did excel in his career even making it to the military as a high-ranking soldier is under a year. He made it big; he earned his name and his position. He won. But at what cost?
Who had to go missing, get hurt, or get killed, for him to be where he is today? How many dead bodies did he have to witness and step over in order to make it to his position? How many of his friends were ripped away from his grasp because of his job and the people he had to chase as a result?
How many times has he probably blamed Henry for all of it; the guy who broke out of prison under his experienced eye? Who robbed the Tunisian Diamond? Who betrayed the government while he was present? Who witnessed one of the best military members sacrifice his life for the good of everyone? How much do you think he blames Dave for by not checking the package and being negligent? Does he think Johnny caused his own death by being reckless during a chase? Does he blame the government for trusting a crook and bombing the mission?
He can point fingers all he wants, and he probably does. He's trying to protect himself, protect his ego, protect his mind. He does not want to believe he played a part on all these incidents that destroyed lives. Because deep down, he probably blames himself for everything.
... How many times do you think he blamed HIMSELF for his own negligence and arrogance? Did he blame himself for Dave, his partner, getting fired when he himself was allowed to stay and rise in his field? Does he blame himself for Johnny's death? For not being a good enough driver or not stopping mid-police chase to make sure his partner was okay? If he hypothetically suggested Henry for the Tophat raid, does he blame himself for ruining everything when Henry goes rouge? If Henry complies, does he blame himself for Charles's death by not being able to stop the Tophat takeoff beforehand?
He probably feels like he's never doing enough, so he overcompensates by exceeding expectations and rising quickly. Everything is does is to make up for his singular mistake to his record, and because Henry is well... Henry, he can never make that mistake up. He cannot win to Henry. He can never live down that one fatal error for the rest of his life.
How much does he carry on his shoulders because of his one mistake a year ago? Because if I witnessed what he had, I would also be crushed under that pressure.
TLTR: I hate this man, and I'll make sure he eats asphalt 💖

Rupert: What's with the bricks? Fish: Trauma.
Alt version without the noise and progress shots are right here.

Thanks for reading the yap sesh gang, expect more bc Rupert's so fun to draw in anguish. Beating him to death with that pole Henry used in EtP.
Have a good one ✌️✌️

Eyes
Personal opinion:>
Ellie gorgeous brown eyes :>>
Charles light green reference to military collor, but still its fith him well
Henry blue, probably , diamond collor
Sven dark blue, matches his hat perfectly
Rupert dark green maybe mix wifh brown
RHM green GINGER cool green eyes>:D
And also I think blue eyes also fits Reginald but brown seems more fitting to hair so I guess..
Burt dark brown and I made sure to draw less light in Burts eyes because he already probably lost all hope
