Anyway, Inna is from the CIS countries. In the 90-00's many from these countries wanted to go to north america for a better life. Inna has long been preparing for the move, she learned the language, saved money and finally got to the land of opportunity, meeting her brother Eddy.

Inna is a naive and romantic person by nature, so she immediately fell in love with the local handsome man. She was just wearing giant-sized rose-colored glasses, which made the girl not notice those red flags. Inna dreamed of only one thing - a strong family, but in the end everything went wrong. When Inna realized what was happening, it was too late, the trap was slammed and now, if I may say so, Inna is in slavery. Her documents have been taken away, her family has been cut off; she can't escape, because the corrupt cops will seize her immediately.

Eddy's brother has turned into a huge monster (Eds-level threat). He can easily harm the fragile girl if he wants to.

Now Inna is paying for her naivety... and at that moment Eds shows up…

So, Russian dubbing, it's... It's okay. Far from perfect, but I'm already glad it's there. Yes, not all seasons and not all episodes are preserved in dubbing, many episodes in Russian are simply lost. Because of this I didn't watch all the episodes, by the way. The specials and the featurette only exist in the original at the moment.

Let's move, probably, to the most interesting thing - the voices, how they sound. Only 4 people took part in the voice-over: 2 men and 2 women. Well, what can I say? All sound very good. Of course someone dubbing did not spare. First of all, those who were squeaky, namely: Eddy, Johnny and Rolf. They were voiced by 1 actor (legendary, by the way. My compatriots could hear him in the voicing of Spider-Man 90s, in Luntik and in Bogatyrs), whose voice timbre is soft-squeaky. As a result, we get the following picture: Eddy sounds different, more low and soft, hoarse. He's probably the reason I considered making my own adult version of Eds. It didn't take long for his voice to change, but only for a season. The dubbing actors were swapped in there.The one who voiced Eddy voiced Kevin, and the one who voiced Kevin voiced Eddy. It was a mess. And the next season, it all came back.

Jonny, accordingly, also sounds softer and doesn't yell like a beggar in the original. I don't like the original Jonny, but the dubbing makes me like Jonny a lot. I find him more mysterious, soft and friendly.

The one who was unlucky and destroyed by the dubbing was Rolf. Rolf turned out to be unattractive in general, they removed his accent completely from his speech, except that he speaks about himself in the third person. The voice itself does not change in any way. Not lower, not higher. It's just normal. Here Eddy and Jonny are different, but Rolf ... He's nothing. That's where the original wins.

In general, I like Rolf the least because of the dubbing.

Oh, also this dubbing actor voices at the beginning of the title of the series (sometimes it is used, but more often not, in my opinion), and the author of the idea and producer who is Danny. Standard practice. When I watched the original, I missed this))))

I also want to add that Kevin sounds more brutal to me. And the same actor voices Ed. There's no question these characters are well voiced. I like it.

Everyone else was voiced by women. They sound +- good. Jimmy sounds softer, I think. Sarah is annoying (in a good way, the actress is convincing). Kenkers is almost 1 in 1 original. Nezz is good too. Double D sounds okay, a little different, but there wasn't much metamorphosis going on with him.

I thought it sounded different in season 5, but maybe the actress' voice just changed with age, I don't know.

Эд был бы замечательным отцом. Конечно очень рассеянным, но он бы изо всех сил старался быть внимательным.

В глубине его душе больно отзывается личный опыт с отцом, когда тот не обращал внимания на него. Оно и понятно, его отец пахал как лошадь, чтобы содержать двоих детей и жену домохозяйку в неплохом таком доме.

О, вот с этого началась эра худого Эдди и густых волос на голове. Когда я только начал рисовать взрослую версию, то считал, что рисовать густую шевелюру на головах - это кощунство перед каноном... А может это и правда парик?
