Nah I was just pointing out how stupid it is to think that, for the experience of humans, things can be explained the way that math is, it’s a logical fallacy that I learned about I can’t remember the name of, something something of the inverse or along those lines “you like waffles so you must hate pancakes, because they’re opposites” kind of shit

you can’t quantify oppression, so even though we don’t all experience the same oppression it doesn’t mean there’s one “most oppressed” group that all other groups aren’t being oppressed when compared to it. completely agree

I literally cannot understand how hard it is for people to understand that definitions of more specific things have the definition of the broader thing within them, like why are you SUBTRACTING from someone’s experience, this shits not math, the great thing about math is that the rules are always the same no matter where you apply them but people aren’t math, social constructs don’t inverse, that’s why you have to put a little more work than “systematic oppression + systematic oppression = most oppressed”
