To further increase the scale of Trust, I have decided to launch a Patreon page, where you can choose to offer additional support if you wish. It's optional of course. Please note that Trust the Owls will always be free to play. I already dedicate a significant amount of time to the game and am willing to dedicate even more. (we're approaching the 1st year anniversary, yey!)

On Patreon, I plan on having three tiers with various rewards. As of now, there will be a single tier. Due to the nature of how my interactive fiction book is created, the following will fit the story quite well in the future. (The game will shift after becoming a Voievod and the other tiers will be available depending on the interest)

Hello, I wanted to let you know that Chapter 6 is in the works and will be released late February or at worst, early March. (Maybe around 28 Feb-4 March)

The adventure continues with the 2 paths. On Cleias's path you will meet a future RO faster, while on Grandfather's path, you will get to interact with... a mysterious someone. There are way more things coming so stay tunned for the future!

Fixed 2 bugs (hopefully) that were bugging me. There's now a text box where you write the first word when you're a baby, to make sure there's no more errors. Also fixed the two undefined terms from Chapter 5. In case you weren't able to read what's in the complex terms tab in the encyclopedia, now you can. (it's in Chapter 5, so you kinda need to play through the chapter again, a rather beefy entry in the encyclopedia)

Been a bit sick lately, but that didn't stop me that much. I lost a little bit of momentum, yet even so, Chapter 6 is in the works as expected. I have a few big ideas for the future, so it will be interesting :)

Letting you know that I'm writing on the next chapter. And also, I want to let you know that all the other chapters will be a little different. The story will flow the same way, but there will be more options available, more interesting dialogue (improved writing without changing the essence of the story), hidden stats and variables that will influence the story in various ways and many secrets added along the way.

I'm about 40% done with the next update. I want this story to be special and I hope you'll find it special too.

A restart will be necessary, but it will be worth it ;)

What would happen if mc drank all the liquid in the element choosing ceremony?

Hey. There's not a lot of liquid in the vials due to the rarity of the ingredients. If the MC had tried to drink it all, the people there would have stopped them. Not much would have happened either way, mostly because what we are drinking is quite similar to holy water.

Hey, Blestem is a 'curse' or sickness that returns once in a while, all over the world. No one really knows what's going on, despite many experiments and investigations. In the past, it used to affect everyone, but this time, there were only newborns.

Chapter 6 Released 282k words + code (was 224k words + code)

In the heart of Ernin, a new soul has come into existence with the potential to bring change. Kalvanya, a kingdom known for its massive strength, has caught the attention of the powerful gods, called Aniters.

A new soul has arrived in the midst of what many would call the most controversial family on the planet. A child born with the hope of bringing change.

Grow up in a dark fantasy world that spans from the end of the Middle Ages and beginning of the Early Modern Era.

Able to choose own name, sex, eye color, hair color, height, weight.

Characters will react to your appearance and make comments based on their personalities and judgment. (they will gradually appear and change as you grow up)

Despite your authentic ancestors and current family, you’ll possess the ability to be evil, neutral, or kind - or perhaps all of them at the same time and confuse everyone. Expect people to be disappointed by your choices.

There will be no personality stats. Characters will make comments based on your previous decision, all depending on their on personalities and judgement.

Romance will play a part in the story, with five main love interests and multiple flings along the way. You’ll meet some of the main love interests while growing up. And many more along the way.

Ability to influence some characters, turning evil characters towards the right path or attempting to corrupt kindhearted individuals.

Choose one of the 5 Elements that will join in your adventures all over the beautiful world of Ernin.

Eventually, follow your true destiny and become a ruler, as it’s in your rights.

Choose one of the three available horses, each possessing a unique personality.

The game is character driven and the dialogue will be shaped by your age. As the MC grows, the inner monologue will change, and many of the scenes will become more descriptive.
