Shadow and Arthur both having too much responsibility from a young age and bonding over it

Arthur being just as prideful as Shadow

Both of them enjoying quiet moments when they don't have any responsibilities

Also both of them being more introverted

Shadow learning to duel with and actual not chaos spear so they can duel

Shadow is a man out of time, Arthur is a man out of place. They both help each other feel more like they belong

They are both very diplomatic and talk a lot about expectations and what they need from a relationship

This makes them slowly evolve a deep understanding and great trust in each other

okay so i finally drew this AU shadow that i’ve been thinking about for ages… basically since he outlives everyone, he ends up becoming the guardian of all the emeralds/the master emerald and they go out of control, so he uses his own body as a container for them

so,,,he is a living culmination of all the emeralds, the master emerald, and chaos!! so he practically pulls a madoka and becomes a god
