Yeah, it feels very likely that it's a love interest. Or just a friend but I don't think so?

Either they are just hanging out in the car between filming and it is cold af or the car is part of the scene. Maybe they are sleeping in the car and the police arrives (including Emil)

It looks like they are sleeping in the car but who knows. We also know Linus works as a chef.

Could it be a possibilty that Edvin and Omar will do a sommarprat together? They already said their project won't be connected to Young Royals but that they will still do one together to talk about the effects of it? Edvin only talked about s1 in his and Omar talked about his life before YR, so it could be a good timing to look at it in hindsight?

I don't think it is very likely but it would be amazing! They are so good together so it would be such a lovely thing but I don't think that's it.

Edvin finished filming ALW in Lithuania towards the end of November and bleached his hair sometime in December (we had a clip of him with friends at the beginning of Dec and it was still dark).

Also, I'm sure I saw some bts where they had a date on a clapperboard as being October but I can't find it rn.🥲 So Edvin would have come in pretty late in the filming.

Which leads me to believe that either they worked aroung Edvin's shedule and filmed scenes where he wasn't needed first or Linus is missing for the first few episodes, which would be weird and sad...

Okay! I've just seen many people say it started then but I don't remember how they knew.

They either filmed around his schedule or he will be mostly in part 2. We'll see. Initially I was thinking maybe we'll get ti follow each sibling for a little while. For instance Richard posted with Clara which could have been some individual scenes and then we got some with Edvin.

From a story telling perspective I also can't see Linus not be there from the beginning but we'll see. He was busy with ALW and then home for a couple of weeks at the very least, taking it easy.

What I'm confused about is that Alexandra also seemed to be filming and wasn't only on set as producer. Surely they can't bring Sonja back, right? Everyone saw her die, there can't be another fake-out. So then what? 🤔 Flash-backs maybe? But then they would have to be without the siblings since they all are older and have other styles. Is she haunting them?🤪 How is she there? //

from the bts we got from the last day I'm pretty sure sonja was in the scene on the roof with the siblings: there was a pic of a monitor where you could see four figures on the roof and we got a group pic with all filming crew on the roof and all crew wore the same jacket but the actors (edvin, Alexandra, Joel and clara) wore different ones... and if sonja is in a scene with the siblings with their current styles that means she will not only be in flashback scenes, but be there as either a "vision" or she's not dead (more likely)

Alexandra has played the main role in all the series/movies her production company have produced so far, so I figured that she will in epiologen as well or if not the main role, at least a big role. hope om wrong tho 😅 bc I want her to remain dead and the focus to be on the siblings. but we also know edvin will have a pretty small role as he was not part of the first half of the filming and when he was filming he probably was not filming full time as he talked about having more time off and being able to rest during this winter

We have (ltr) Edvin, Joel, then it looks like Clara (based on what she's wearing in otjer bts which is a wool coat) and then a fourtjh person that doesn't look like Alexandra (or Clara for that matter)

I wouldn't be surprised if she's in the final episode but at the same time I don't thinl we should make too many conclusions based on their jackets.

She has said that it's the children's story so I don't think she will be the main character. I don't see how that would happen with how season 6 ended.

I'm not entirely sure when they begun filming either. I've heard autumn. But it also doesn't fit with the synopsis if Edvin didn't film much for the first few eps. Unless we get a bit from each of them.

He did have some time off yeah but he was still pretty busy with shooting from december-march!

Yeah I think she did film some pieces but I think there will be more like visions or her "hunting" them as you say.

They can’t have her still be alive. The whole purpose is to see their life after her death.

Same with Zsc who also seemed to have scenes. I hope for "visions"

Didn't they say in one press release that there will be 10 episode released in two parts? So probably the first 5 eps by the end of the year... And then in 2025 it will be time for ALW and Part 2 of Epilogen! So much to look forward to from Edvin!!!

Yeah that's correct. I wonder how long it will be between part one and two. They were clear that it was two parts and not two seasons. Probably a shorter time than between season 5 and 6.

Probably a few months and part 2 will be released in 2025 as you say.

Do you think gåsmamman will come out by the end of this year?

Yes! They said (somewhere) later this year and since they wrapped up recently they have time in post production for that to happen.

My biggest wish from Gasmamman is that they repair the rl between Linus and Gustav. They were so distant in the last couple of seasons... It's weird how much I care for all three siblings since I couldn't stand Nina in the first two seasons and Gustav in the third one... But by the end I loved them all and just wanted them free from their mother's influence.

I'm intrigued who will go after them as well. Sonja is now dead so whoever it is, it must be some sort of personal vendetta to want to kill them since I don't think they'll go into the business by their own choice. Ahh, can't wait! This is probably the one show I've watched where I feel an epilogue/ spin off is warranted.

Did i write this ask myself? I couldn't stand Nina in season 1-2 and Gustav started to annoy me in season 3 and I despised him in season 4-5. So far Linus is the only sibling I've not hated. Hopefully it stays that way.

At the end of the day I feel for them so much and I have so much sympathy for them. They were dealt shit hand and has so much trauma! They deserve stability and love!

Yes it definitely feels very personal. I'm trying to think back if there's someone who has been affected by Sonja's actions on a very personal level (there obviously are)

I do feel like there are so many questions that will be answered but also that there's potential for something very good.

I was excited from the start but especially after reading the synopsis. It sounds very very good!

From the first look stills, it looked more to me that Agnes is the one scheming and not that heartbroken. The one in the hall way and at the pool party looked like she is watching and manipulating. Also her on the bike in front and Noel following her underlines that for me.

Interesting! That would definitely feel more unexpected in my opinion! I could see that happening for sure!

I feel like how not common it is to have people speculate on a swedish movie, feel very passionately in some way about it even before it’s released. Like just that people are talking about apoy when it hasn’t even been released yet… and also promo, sweden is very chill about promo and I don’t think any actor would prioritize promoting a movie/show vs filming a current project. It feels like people expect it to work as it does in hollywood or big productions when it just doesn’t. I think people will watch it because most people aren’t chronically onlineand keep up with why you should or shouldn’t watch anything or what someone said or didn’t say. There aren’t too many swedish teen shows or movies so I think young people are gonna watch a movie with famous people and also it’s swedish so they might relate more than an american high school movie. Idk I just feel protective of our little swedish show and movies I guess. Everyone needs to have a bit more lagom!

Yeah there's definitely a different culture for sure and I definitely have not experienced this kind of (dis)investment in a movie with this little information. But I've also not paid that much attention.

You are right that most people are not aware of the discourse or why you should or shouldn't watch something and if they did I'm not sure how much they would care even.

Promo is very different too. On netflix it's obviously special but normally you do some interviews and if there's a talkshow on at the time you might be a guest. You may do an interview in a magazine. You'll be on Tv and that's it.

Netflix adds that other content but it's not really like bigger budget American productions with many interviews.

It's true that there are not many Swedish TV shows but swedish teens watch alot of American stuff already so I'm not sure it being Swedish will have that affect even if it could be more relatable.

It will never not be icky to me to see someone sleep with their dead sibling’s partner so that’s already a pass for me 😭 not only for the used and re-used trope but also bc it just makes me uncomfortable. I do hope for those who will watch it that there is a kind of twist that makes it interesting bc as of now, there is nothing.

Also the casting choices are just not good, in the first promo pics we got they all looked like siblings, which is what I thought the movie was gonna be about until I read the plot. Also Zara clearly looks older than Edvin which is also what made me think she was gonna be the older sister and them like twins or something. Not the girlfriend. A bit of diversity could have been good ngl.

Oh yes, Agnes will def be heartbroken with grief, we know as much, but I feel like she will only get close to Noel in a naive way to keep a part of (🙃) her sister with her, which is where her conflict will come from. Anyway, we should get the trailer soon with some more clues...

Yeah that seems very likely! Grief can make you act in all kind of ways.
