Okay, I totally understand why people dislike or even hate certain ships in any fandom, but I don’t get hating on the people who ship it. Unless it’s like illegal or genuinely problematic, why is it such a big deal?

I feel like in so many fandoms the message of the media gets lost in the disagreements people have over silly things like ships or head cannons. At that point are you there because you like the story or because you want to challenge others? Stories and art are meant to be bendable and a thing of perspective, not everybody is going to look at a piece of media the same.

I know people will always find a way to fight over opinions, but being able to get along with people who think different is very beneficial. Love comes in all different types of ways, so naturally there’s going to be different pairs together. It’s how real life works.

I think we should stop worrying about who is right and wrong and just hold hands. If you don’t like something, that’s okay, but don’t push down other people’s own opinions just because you disagree.
