For those of you who don't know, Eight TV is on the finale of Planet of the Apps, a new series on App Music! Our two founders went on the show to pitch their App to four judges, Gwyneth Paltrow, Will.i.am, Jessica Alba, and Gary Vaynerchuk. We are so excited and sent all our love and support out to our amazing bosses when they were on the show! On Tuesday, when the episode aired we had a company viewing party and sat down to watch the finale together. There were so many amazing App ideas, it was a little intimidating but I think Eight TV killed it! Check out the episode exclusively on Apple Music. Free Product Give Away Q & A
Q: Is this real?!
A: I know right!?! Nowadays it’s hard to tell, but YES!🔥 🔥 eight lets you make videos about your favorite products, which are shareable and shoppable on any social platform. We’ve teamed up with a ton of brands to give away some pretty awesome products! When you get your free product in the mail - review it on your eight show, and tell all your friends and followers what you think about it!
Q: How do I get free products?!
A: To claim your free product, find the @iAmDroppingFreeStuff Channel on the Discover Feed in the Eight app and unlock it📱 On that channel you see all our free product drop videos. Simply swipe up ☝ and share the video to get your free product! We do run out seriously quickly, so if you see the words “Out of Stock” we give you the option to buy the product. However check back in on the video every day, as we try to re-stock our videos. Don’t worry if you miss out on a free product drop, we’ve got loads more giveaways coming soon! 💅🏼💄🎀
Q: When are the Free Product Giveaways going to happen?
A: They are random. There are no specific times or dates. If you have your push notifications turned on you will be notified when the @iAmDroppingFreeStuff channel has a new video and that’s when we have a new free product giveaway! There is no notification however when we restock other videos so you will just have to check back in daily.
Q: Do I have to pay for shipping?
A: Nope! When we say free we mean FREE! As in FREE, FREE!!
Q: Can you only get one?
A: Eight is so grateful for all of your support 🙏🏽 and we want as many people as possible to be able to claim their free product. So each eight user can only claim one free product per video. If you try to claim multiple products on the same video, you will only receive one in the mail and you may not be allowed to claim any more free products on our other giveaways. Don’t sweat it though, we have loads more videos coming soon with lots of different products.
Q: It says it costs money, what’s up with that?
A: When all the free products have been claimed it will say “Out Of Stock” but there’s also a “BUY IT” option in case you really, really, really want the product and are ok to pay for it. Keep checking back on the channel for free product re-stocks and for new free product giveaways!
Q: How will I know if the transaction went through?
A: You will get an order confirmation email from us! 📧
Q: What color will I get in the mail?
A: It’s random but it will be a happy surprise when you get it! ❤️💛💚💙💜
Q: When will I get it in the mail?
A: Diana and I are working super fast to send out your FREE product! Please allow between 1-2 weeks for packaging and shipping. You will receive a confirmation email when it’s shipped! 📬 💌
Q: Are there going to be more products?
A: YES!! AND👏🏽I’M 👏🏽SOO 👏🏽STOKED👏🏽 ! NYX Professional Makeup is one of the many branded products we’re sending out to you all! We have a lot more to give away. A few days ago, we went to Sephora to get Monique a mini makeover. She got a beautiful summery goddess eyeshadow done by MUA Claudia which you can check out on our intern Channel on Eight tv @iAmTheIntern
We are going to Vegas tonight 😈 but before we go I wanted to get a little mini makeover of my own. So we headed down to Sephora and asked someone to help me get the beautiful eyebrows I wanted. My friends and I are going to be going out to the casinos to do some gambling so I wanted my eyebrows to be fierce and intense so hopefully, no one can read my poker face 😎 I really wanted to focus on my eyebrows because full luscious brows are so trendy and nothing that I'm accustomed to doing! Cara Delevingne is goals!!
We went to Sephora and Anthony, our new favorite MUA, got my eyebrows on fleek!! He used 3 separate products, a gel, powder, and pencil. Giving us some great advice, he told us to start off with just a gel and use a powder and pencil if we wanted more definition! Anthony was such a talented MakeUp Artist and did an amazing job with my eyebrows!

Taking the Caltrain to work is great since, instead of driving for 2 hours in traffic, I can use my time to get a jump start on work ⌨️, start my homework for my summer class📚, or even watch a few episodes of The Office 💻 if i’m feeling lazy. The downside to taking the train 🚊 is that if you are even a minute late you end up missing the train and being an hour or more late to work.
Having such a busy and time sensitive schedule, I have devised an everyday Lazy Girl makeup look that is simple to do and looks beautifully natural. It is very easy and you don’t need any fancy makeup skills to achieve this look. For those of you who want to get your foot in the door to the MUA world this is a great look to start with.
I use BB cream, blush, eyebrow kit, mascara, and lip plumper gloss. These 5 products transform me every morning from a tired grouch to a lively princess. It takes me about 10 minutes to do and most of the products I bought from my local drugstore.

Happy Friday!!!
I recently got asked some questions on my eight tv channel about highlighters and, as promised, here are my thoughts on them….!
“What the heck is highlighter?”
Highlighter is basically a light attracting makeup. It lifts the high features of your face (like your cheekbones) Contouring is important but if you feel like you are still missing that extra glow - you should start using a highlight ☀️ ☀️
“How do I use Highlighter?”If you are new to using highlighter I would say there are 3 areas to experiment with! ! 🔮
1. Cheekbones! Use highlighter on the top of your cheekbones at least a finger’s width away from your eyes.
2. Under your brow! To add a lift in your eyes and bring out the natural arch of your brow, blend a bit of highlighter right under your eyebrow.
3. Inner corner of the eyes! To open up your eyes and make them bigger and brighter dot some highlighter around your tear duct.
“What color highlighter should I use?”
Darker or olive skin tones should use highlighters with warm bronze, gold or copper tones. If you have lighter or pale skin highlighters with specks of silver and light pink to really illuminate your features.
Beware if you use highlighter all over your face it won’t give a shimmery look 💎but more of a sweaty one.
