i’d do a long post on it but i just feel like summing it up in a short few paragraphs.

i’ll play her mainly in her teen arc, { v: the prodigal child }, aka the one before she grows up. that verse just feels more natural to rp in tbh and there are so many directions she could go as a result of her travels besides taking over aether and turning into kind of a jERK but still having kind of??? a good heart, i just really want to explore all of them instead of “finishing” the plot before anyone else can add input.

i will still do rps with adult lillie but i’ll put them under an AU and make lillie older.

i’m going to try to make lillie’s backstory a bit less specific bc i realize it makes it really hard for others to interact with me……after all i’m sure 99.9% of lusamines out there are unwilling to play her as a fascist and i’m literally the only one who thinks it would make sense for mohn to be part alolan, specifically alolan draconid. (tl;dr mohn had a science idea related to some of the stories he heard and then ORAS MULTIVERSE THEORY INTENSIFIES)

i need to do a ton of posts on alolan draconid culture. also, i’m changing their origin to polynesian because my old one was based on a weird ass headcanon i had two years ago on my FIRST zinnia blog (now deleted) that the draconids were actually mongolian and settled in hoenn because that was rayray’s “promised land,” then went to other places. but now i’ve sort of absorbed that into original fiction and then i was like……what if the draconids originated in ALOLA and started off worshiping ZYGARDE instead of RAYQUAZA and only made it to hoenn LATER. so yeah.

that’s all i can think of for now. :P

okay, this was beyond sleeping through spirit bio. this was IDIOCY, plain and simple. most humans knew instinctively that material weapons could never hurt a ghost, but apparently, this one didn’t. gritting her teeth, she pulled her charizard’s poké ball from her belt. she thought he would have pulled out his own by now, but the situation had clearly escalated beyond something mockable. things were only funny until someone got hurt--and then they weren’t funny at all.

                                                                    ❝Moltke! Feuerwirbel!❞

as soon as the charizard burst from his ball, he let loose a spiraling Fire Spin--ferocious but impeccably controlled, so precise as to be almost computer animated, not a single spark out of place. the flames wrapped themselves around the trevenant, not even touching it, but close enough to its limbs and single eye to let it feel the intensity of its heat. the tree spirit let out a piercing wail, seemingly in pain from the sheer threat of being wrapped up by all that fire aura--or perhaps from the aura itself. (she wouldn’t be surprised if it was the latter; the steel/fire Prussian Charizards were notorious for their enhanced capacities.) but she wasn’t here to set fire to an innocent creature whose only fault was protecting its territory. she could protect her fellow humans as well, without being cruel.

moments later moltke stopped his steady exhalation of flame, letting the fire spin hover around the trevenant--then turned to face her, his yellow eye peering at her from his iron-plated head. he was asking for her orders. her answer came immediately.

           ❝It’s fine. Let this one go.❞

the charizard opened his jaws again, summoning the flames back inside his mouth--swallowing them, really, so that there was no aura wasted. both he and lillie gave the trevenant expectant glances, after which it sank back into the forest floor from which it came.

siebold, however, would not be shown so much mercy. well--not in terms of scoldings, anyway.

         ❝i don’t know what the hell you thought                 you were doing,❞ she huffed, ❝but let me             tell you, you are lucky to be alive. what                 were you thinking, going into a spirit wood             without your pokémon? just imagine what                 would have happened if i hadn’t been here too!❞

What did Gladion go through compared to Lillie?

|| tbh i have no idea how i personally would interpret his struggle, though after seeing enough gladions i feel like it’s almost fanon that gladion had a tougher time than lillie growing up. but my canon gladion @lillysword hcs that he was used as an experiment by aether, as punishment from lusamine for learning too much about the type:full experiments--they tried making him a superhuman by merging him with the UBs. (also memey if i got any part of this wrong please feel free to correct me DX)

tl;dr it was an unethical science collab to pave the way for the Perfect German Master Race. and she doesn’t trust anyone who got within ten feet of that.

headcanon because i need to address this. 

SuMo gladion’s response to trauma was to become quiet and withdrawn. he of course internally rails against aether’s evils, but he also wanted to get away from them as much as possible--and so he emotionally shut himself off from others as a means of escape. on the other hand, lillie’s whole being threw itself against what faba and post-SuMo lusamine did to her, which caused her to become louder and whinier--in contrast to her brother.

i base this off the times in canon when lillie was irritated--she could get so damn snappy in a way that gladion never did, and if life fucked her over just a little bit more, i figured she’d get snappier as a result. i also base this off the fact that what gladion went through was probably 50000x worse than what lillie, and so he may have felt more need to dissociate from his problems rather than constantly lash out against them (and even if not, everyone responds differently to trauma so there’s that). she does noticeably calm down when she gets older, but that’s because hey, she got older. not to mention she has no choice but to be calm on the surface given the nature of her job.
