Things I’ve heard that just aren’t factual

{Q&A} this is where I debunk your false beliefs and comments about our brand that I’ve heard so far…. But if you have anymore questions comment them and I’ll answer in my next post

A: I have heard this a lot and it’s very insulting to the designers who take the time to add those stones in such a way that they last and remain in good quality. proof would be the low quantity of stock, which isn’t the designers fault hot pressing quality stones that don’t fall off at the slightest tug or hake, takes time. Hope this helps

Q: The size isn’t all that inclusive

A: the aim of this brand and its parent brand is to offer a unique sense of fashion to ALL. To explain a majority of our clothes are one size fits all with very very few exceptions, we actually believe everyone deserves to feel pretty and expensive big or small.

Q: The fabric isn’t authentically from Africa

A: The brand is originally from Lagos Nigeria where all of its designers are based and I say all because there are many in the picture, simply feeling our fabrics any you’d be able to tell it’s high quality

Q: It’s traditional clothing

A: I guess it’s easy to believe this because of the patterns but no there is nothing traditional about them they are are however Nigerian fabric used to make modern and modest designs

Q: If a white person or a person from any other country asides Nigeria wears your designs Its cultural appropriation

A: I don’t know where people got this from but no like I said before they are unique because the quality fabric and gems are from Nigeria but anyone can wear them because they do not belong to a specific cultural group.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS

Let’s stop talking about arcane for a second, although MEGA fan of JINX. But I just realised that Christmas is coming up and most of us “immigrants” (I don’t like that word it makes me feel like a bird) don’t have anything suitable to gift our relatives or to wear to New Year’s parties and family dinners. Well if any of this sounds familiar, I’ll be launching an African ready to wear store in 11 days {08/12/2025} with mostly one of one designs (so don’t worry about anyone copying your style, they are pretty rare).
