idk why i thought that making an eng version of it and posting it here will be a good idea. i find it kinda fun that almost every person i know who had read HS tells me that it doesn't worth it and that i'm blessed with being unaware of it. and then the same people start talking about the hs related stuff with their characters and make me lean towards the pandora box

strangetown x alien stage!AU notes. thoughts on the Grunts

it started just because "woah sims 2 has aliens too". and it doesn't really end up as something because i lack some thoughts on many in this AU and in all my friend groups i'm the only one who's both into TS2 and ALNST. i wanted to maybe draw something for the sake of pretty post, but i'm tired of delaying stuff just because it needs some cover art.

so what? ->

in general, if you don't even know what ALNST is - we have aliens of different races (so named segyein), who keep humans as dehumanized pets (!) and sometimes put them into showbusyness. the example of it is the titular "alien stage/ALNST" show that is a survival singer contest. also many of participants, by wish of their guardians/owners, were trained from their childhood in so called "Anakt Garden" (Anakt is a name of a local deity humans believe in btw), that is kind of artificial "paradise" with imitated sky, grass, trees, rivers, robot fish, vague care of mental state of kids and unhinged medical experiments. so, humanity is basically enslaved and treated like cats and dogs or even worse, but we have some rebel humans, who are considered terrorists in the alien society.

about the Grunts. i had a thought Buzz is an important human rebel, infamous for his methods (at least in education, since PSP shows he's pretty skilled as a commander, his bio be like "runs division 47 like a well-oiled machine"). but one day the base was raided, and now we have probably dead Lyla and three kidnapped kids. and Tank was probably circa ten in the moment. gotta say, i don't really know what's Buck's situation, because he is notably younger than Tank and Ripp and probably wouldn't end up in Anakt Garden on the same class with them. but! about other two. Tank had a hard time, being separated from his family by force, even though Buzz definitely was pretty cruel to him sometimes. they're human rebels and they always have to fight for their lives and for possibility of freedom, so Buzz tried to raise his sons as warriors from the very beginning. might sound like a noble goal, but they still were little kids who were living in grave danger from the moment they were born. And Buzz definitely wasn't patient. some time after the raid Tank ended up being bought by a pretty violent alien. maybe he was kinda like ALNST Till - a kid with a "potential", which his new owner wanted to explore. or just to re-educate that definitely mentally unhealthy human cub. but Tank kept rebelling restlessly, since aliens are his natural enemies (pretty based in the ALNST setting though), and always ended up in isolator or stuff like that. the warpaint is another one mark of his rebellion and often gets removed from his face by force. Tank still idolizes Buzz, and the feeling gets harder from the trauma and Tank missing him very much. he probably perceives Buzz as a perfect image in his head, that taught him to Fight, Survive, etc, and can't really recall all those times he wasn't neither perfect or "good". all he was taught about motivates Tank to keep his "war" even when it doesn't make sense and is pretty dangerous, so he often ends up in isolator or aliens try to "fix" him. but what definitely distinguishes Tank from Buzz is the fact that Tank (at least yet) isn't the one to lead people, so he tends to scare other AG kids away with his behaviour. like, yeah, in this AU Tank is actually even WORSE with it than the original. expectable, since he's THAT traumatized and literally dehumanized. but Tank wasn't the only one in Anakt Garden. we still have Ripp. when i tried to tell the very concept of AU to my friends, someone gave me an idea that Ripp's owner/guardian might be PT9 (but i don't really know what's about the Smiths in general though). so we can consider him a lucky one, a pet of a "nice?" alien, who has friends and people who care about him. and he's just a kid, who tries to enjoy even a little bit of comparatively "easy" and "peaceful" life after his childhood and the trauma of getting separated from both parents. just a kid, who doesn't want to live his life as a war, since he hadn't a choice from the beginning. and i had a thought that probably it's partially Ripp's fault they were caught (can't really blame a scared kid whos' under 10 years, though), or at least Tank likes to blame Ripp. and in this AU it's a reason why Tank is that violent to Ripp - we can say it might be blaming for that incident, "betrayal" (like, dad taught them pretty much otherwise, but Ripp doesn't do anything with his status as a pet/slave even if his master seems kind enough) or just some kind of envy for better living. there's no Ripp's fault in it, but Tank seem to need a scapegoat and a way to justify himself beating his own brother.

well damn. tryna to finish danny's reference sheet (actually it's more like about the lore, 'cause i'll add some relationships stuff and a textual summary of the backstory). i suspect that THAT defined cheekbones are not really canon, but it looks great and i'm afraid to make it worse in the full rendered variant.

for a little entertainment gonna post here an english version of his… kin bingo? idk, made it just for fun few months ago. under the cut. actually it includes not only his teenage era, but also the 18-25 years period.

(because he never does anything even itty bitty hard and doesn't fight for anything). they both were born in result of an alien mpreg if you're bothered

⬇️...oooops, that one's not danny. i mean, he's danny in some sense, but not quite. meet sandero duster! i can't explain his backstory without explaining the whole basis of danny's, because it's a damn AU that mirrors the original story. the only thing i can tell you is... yeah, i DO references to some cars. in case you didn't know - the whole "duster" thing is reference to renault duster (i was surprised to know that in the most of the countries it's damn DACIA duster). sandero, accordingly, is a reference to renault/dacia sandero.

i'm actually drawing pretty... interesting art request right now. the only sad thing (not for me, though) that it's Tank again.

also i catch myself on the thought i need more psp Tank stuff. yeah, he's dumb as hell and overall asshole in psp, but... i kinda like the design. or maybe i just want some diversity, idk. almost always it's like "the design is not PC one? then it's the GBA/DS one" when it comes to fanart. not critics at all, just sharing my observations.

quickly brainstormed a bit of my own kind_of_swap_or_reverse strangetown AU. kinda like... what if Buzz actually has a knowledge aspiration and conducts a long-term social experiment on his own sons, and it has some Milgram experiment vibe and 100% is about obedience or something of this kind. probably related to the subjects causing pain to Ripp own brothers if it's allowed+approved (especially when someone doesn't obey or fit into the "standard"). maybe with electic chair on the sundays too. and Tank is the most obedient one, who'll do anything Buzz says and unironically thinks he's respected by father, but actually Buzz is either disgusted or kinda terrified of his tendencies.

i barely know anything about universities premades in ts2 (y'know... i'm playing ts2 for circa a year and half. my first the sims game was ts3 in my 9 and after ts3 i started playing ts4 which i wholeheartedly despise but still play to make screenshots and do some livestreams for my friends). like, i never really got an opportunity (i'm kinda trying to play a main story for now...) to check this stuff out. but i see fanarts, of course, and... ...all the purpose of this post was to say i know NOTHING about aldric davis, but some fanarts give him 2003-2004 patrick stump visual vibe and i kinda love it. very nice.

found out that the general titsboobs post below is 69th post ever on my blog. well yeah, i still giggle at the number. anyway, spent an hour and half just to finally make some justice for courtney... wait, you don't know her yet. remember danny? so, uhm, yeah, it's his twin sister.

don't let the picture composition deceive you, she's still circa 185 cm tall. or 6′1″ idk. we don't use feets and inches in our measurement system and i actually find it great.

not sure if it would make sense to just spam you with her backstory when i didn't even started with danny's. i kinda think it wouldn't make much sense if i'll just loredump about only one of them without any basics of the story.
