Good day my dear #fragfam friends 🙋🏻‍ Today I’m sharing with you a fragrance that truly blew my mind with its beauty, a fragrance that I had been awaiting since the first bottle prototype was made back in November 2020. FARIS is an Arabic word that means Knight and that black cap and the web-like design on it kind of gave me the impression that it’s going to be such a dark scent like most of their FIDDAH and WARDE Collections which are very magnificent and truly oriental. However, to my surprise, KAJAL had something up their sleeve with this fragrance where they worked with perfumers Urs Castelletti and David Chieze to create a new phenomenal masterpiece that continues to treat you and surprise you for many hours leaving you never feeling bored. The amazing scent profile of this fragrance takes you into a beautiful journey that remind me of my travel journeys throughout the fields in the heart of Europe with a very bold yet very refreshing sour fruity opening with a mix of Bergamot, Juniper Berries, Lemon, Apple and Orange that was tamed through a well-balanced touch of Lavender. The journey then takes in a tour through a spicy floral journey throughout Southeast Asia through a mix of Jasmine, Nutmeg, Rose, Coriander and Clove; until it settles down on one of those beautiful dry downs that KAJAL if famous for with an intimate mix of Amber, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Patchouli that draws a huge smile of happiness and satisfaction. Despite its beautiful continuously variable scent profile, I truly feel the European and more specifically French spirit in FARIS, and I think that it lives up to the true meaning of its name conquering all hearts and lands with full determination and stamina with its excellent longevity and projection and I totally find this release to be worthy of carrying the name FARIS. Well today, I’m sharing with you a fresh luxury trio from a house that totally blew my mind with their dark trio which I reviewed in detail previously, a house whose first fragrance was a true oriental blast, a house that build itself as a new legend in the making around emotions and reimagining how the king of all scents the Oud can fit in every scenario and that house is AZMAN from the UAE Ladies and Gentlemen. So, have they done a good job with freshies?! Without any further ado, let’s dive in. The house started with two collaborations with a perfumer whose exceptional work is beyond words and that is Chris Maurice Carbonnel. SONG FOR A WANDERER which is a fruity amber floral luxury fragrance that was launched in 2022, represents the start of a wonderful summer trip to a wonderful Arabian Oasis as it opens through a very intoxicating bright sour fruity concoction of Bergamot, Lemon, Orange Blossom, Raspberry and Passion Fruit; followed by a mysterious mix of Lavender, Jasmine, Wet Land, Smoke, Cloves and Tagetes mimicking a walk through a beautiful garden that has a well thought about mix of florals; until it finally settles on a wonderful rich woody base of Cedar, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Amber, Moss, Musk and Laos Oud. This fragrance in my opinion is one of those that redefine how this class of scents. After that nice walk through the mixed floral garden, you delf into a well taken care of Jasmin garden during the dates palm trees harvesting time which is right now in our country where you experience RIAD JASMINE in reality as if Chris Maurice has been into such farms where he started this smooth very comforting scent with a sweet mix of Raspberry, Tangerine, Date with a touch of Pine; Heart: Muguet or Lily of the Valley, Jasmine, with a touch of Cedar wood until it settles on a well-crafted smooth base of Incense, Musk and Oud. This is one of those scents that I can’t stop sniffing and one of the best Jasmin representations. Tabac Doré by Bortnikoff is described as an Amber Vanilla unisex fragrance that was created by Dmitry Bortnikov and launched in 2021. This fragrance is far beyond an Amber Vanilla fragrance. It is a work of art which is meant to represent the oriental night which does that very well yet it triggers the feelings of listening to a world class symphony and here is why I fell in love with this fragrance at first sniff and why it captivated my soul. The opening of this magical concoction felt so dramatic and important in this fragrance's journey just like a Sonata Form that is the first movement of a symphony and this incredibly talented perfumer used Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Vanilla Absolute and Pink Pepper which all are head turners in my opinion to give this feeling and catch your full attention at first sniff. The slow movement which is the heart of the symphony comes in various forms and lasts for substantially more time and that's exactly what the heart notes of Tobacco absolute, Benzoin, Cinnamon and Fig played so well to the point that one really feels like dancing inside because of how wonderful the fragrance feels at this stage especially because of how the main heart note 🎵 the Tobacco Absolute relaxes you. The fragrance then takes a very lively finale like a Rondo form of a symphony on a solid Wild Oud base that comes from Thailand and Vietnam which is one of the most beautiful Oud oils I have ever smelled in near 4 decades of my experience with Oud oil. It's so lively and indulgent to the point that makes you want to wear the fragrance again and again. This Oud Oil base comes enveloped by Peru Balsam, Tolu Balsam, Labdanum, Cedar and Sandalwood which result in one of the most beautiful dry downs I have ever smelled. I believe you now understand why I don't consider this fragrance as just an Amber Vanilla or Tobacco Oud fragrance but rather a true masterpiece of Perfumery that is far beyond that... A fragrance that truly delivers on every aspect and one that does not fail to turn curious heads around you and one that makes mute and shy tongues sing in love... Good day my dear #fragfam friends 🙋🏻‍♂️ [ بالعربي 👇🏼 ] FRENCH FLOWER is the latest release by MATIERE PREMIERE 🇫🇷 that is marketed as a unisex Floral fragrance but the question that jumped to my mind was can white floral scents be truly unisex?! While I was watching the live interview of the talented perfumer Aurelien Guichard hosted by my dear friend Rahul Agarwal of @eternalscentjourney whose oriental taste I totally trust, I felt that he found it unisex enough which intrigued me to find out how Aurelien did that. The concept behind this scent is to capture the full experience of tuberose at night where their scent peaks with its full seductiveness that they traditionally prohibited bachelors from wondering around the tuberose fields at night and for that, the perfumer captured the essence of tuberose petals full potential through absolute and enfleurage forms of the flower's petals which they organically grew themselves in their own fields. He also used Nigeria ginger in the opening to amplify the whiteness of the flower and green pear to add a vegetal touch to the opening. The heart also contains a touch of orange blossom to give the tuberose more presence and some Chinese tea leaf essence to underline the vegetal character of this stemmed flower. The base is Ambroxan which added some depth to the overall vibe of this fragrance. The performance is a expected from this house lasting on my skin for more than 10 hours and my clothes for a whole day and what I noticed while trying it is that it behaved substantially differently on my skin in comparison to my cotton t-shirt with a bit more masculinity on my skin because of my skin chemistry. But… Was it masculine enough for my more oud, woody, rose, ambergris, and dark incense oriented taste to consider it perfectly unisex and wear it full time? My answer would be probably not… At least for now that our weather is getting warmer… On the other hand, I would most certainly love to smell this on my wife for sure throughout the year. جمعة مباركة وتحية طيبة معطرة بعجائب الطيب أحبتي #عشاق_العطور_العرب 🙋🏻‍♂️ [English in the Comments] أحببت أن أسلط الضوء على آخر درة من ثلاثية الدار الإماراتية المميزة أزمان التي أذهلت المجتمع العطري ليس فقط على مستوى منطقة الخليج بل سرعان ما ن��شت حرف الإيه من اسم أزمان بشكله الرائع في نفوس عشاق العطور في كل مكان وصلت عطور أزمان إليه. عطر KILLER VAVOOM والذي يعني الجاذبية القاتلة كما قال المثل من الحب ما قتل لذا فهو محاولة من الدار لتجسيد الجاذبية الفاتنة من خلال تعاون مع العطار ميغيل ماتوز الذي أذهلني واقعا بهذا العطر الجريء والغاية في الابتكار الذي جمع فيه النقائض تجسيدا لسحر الجاذبية فنجد العطر ينطلق بأجمل وأعجب رائحة للشكلاتة الداكنة التي طارت بي على جناح الشوق إلى بروكسيل عاصمة الشوكولاتة الأفضل في العالم وتلك الروائح اللذيذة في محال الشوكولاتة حوالي ساحة بروكسل الكبيرة وقام العطار بإيقاع بطل روياتنا وهو الشوكولاتة الداكنة في حبال غرام نفحات فاكهية سويتية معتدلة من البرغموت والبرقوق الناعمة ريثما ينتقل بطل الرواية للمحطة التالية ليقع بعدها في قصة حب جديدة مع باقة من الزهور الشرقية من الأوسمانثوس الياسمين والورد ولا يكتفي بذلك بل يظل البطل الأسمر لاهثا وراء ما يملأ فؤاده ويقر عينه ولا يكون ذلك إلا بالحب الناضج مع الروائح التي توازيه عمقا ورصانة حيث العنبر الكهرماني وطحلب البلوط والباتشولي والمسك والجلد والفانيلا والعود... نعم العود الطبيعي الغير معلن الذي أضاف لمسة الكمال والختامية الجميلة لقصة عطر أقل ما أصفه به أنه عطر ملحمي جسد في نظر مراحل حياة الفرد منا متنقلا في مراحل عمره من حال إلى حال من انجذابه لدلال الأهل وحلاوة الطفولة إلى عمر الزهور وعنفوان الشباب حتى ينضج ويستقر بقية عمره في علاقات ناضجة عميقة راسخة. هذا العطر عميق بكل ما للكلمة من معنى ويحتاج لمن يفهمه لذلك أحببت أن أختتم به هذه المرحلة من الحديث عن دار أزمان التي أذهلتني برؤيتها متمنيا لهم المزيد من النجاحات والإبداعات المذهلة إن شاء الله قريبا. أنصح بتجربة هذه الثلاثية المذهلة من أزمان وبقوة وأنتظر تعليقاكم بكل شوق ودمتم في رعاية الله. #Azman #Killer_Vavoom #كشخة #عطور_النيش (at Dubai City) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcXo9wCj2Zr/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

تحية طيبة أحبتي #عشاق_العطور_العرب 🙋🏻‍♂️ [English in the Comments] أضع بين أيديكم هذا اليوم عصارة ٢٣ عاما من الخبرات المتراكمة في مجال العطور أثمرت مجموعة واسعة من العطور التي حظيت بتجربة خمسة منها تأتينا هذه المرة من دار جديدة من الإمارات العربية المتحدة تأهلت الدار من خلالها لأن تكون أحد العلامات التي سوف تحظى بشعبية واسعة نظرا لأنها موجهة لمن يريد أن يتمتع بروائح جميلة بدون أعباء التكلفة العالية فهذه العطور التي تأتينا من فينيك تمتاز بروائح جميلة بأداء مذهل جدا من حيث الثبات والفوحان والأثر العطري التي بدون مبالغة تدوم ليوم أو يومين حتى وتأتي وفي قوارير لطيفة وعملية جدا من سعة ٥٠ مل وبخيارات متنوعة وتكلفة مناسبة للجميع بأسعار تتراوح ما بين ١٠٥ حتى ١٢٦ درهما فقط. وإليكم نبذة عن هذه العطور الخمسة أحبتي قسمتهم لمجموعتين الأولى منهما الأكثر دفئا وحميمية. ️1️⃣ عنبر عود: عطر شرقي للجنسين عنبري كهرماني حلو دافيء وحميمي ينطلق بافتتاحية من الزعفران والغاردينيا وقلب من الهيل والكركم ويستقر على قاعدة من الجلد والعود والعنبر. 2️⃣ باتشولي: نجم الحفلة ويذكرني بروائع الباتشولي مثل عطر سول باتشولي إذ نجد الباتشولي مهيمنا على كل طبقات الهرم العطري محاطا بروائح مختلفة في كل مرحلة كالسوسن وروائح خضراء في الافتتاحية بينما نجده محاطا بالميموزا في قلب العطر والخطمي والزباد في القاعدة... عطر يميل للجانب الرجالي أكثر وأنصح بتجربته وبقوة لعشاق الباتشولي. 3️⃣ ميلان: من أجمل عطور الدار بافتتاحية من الخزامى (اللافندر) وقلب من الجلود وأوراق الفواكه ويرتكز على قاعدة كريمية حميمية من الفانيليا وخشب الصندل. أنصح بتجربته للجنسين. أما في المجموعة الثانية فنجد عطرين مشرقين منعشين يغلب عليهما الطابع الصناعي أكثر من بقية العطور الآنفة الذكر. 4️⃣ كورنيش: عبارة عن توليفة منعشة من الأمبروكسان مع لمسات منعشة من البرغموت وكريمية بسيطة من خشب الصندل. 5️⃣ فرسكو: الخيار الأكثر انتعاشا في المجموعة وهو توليفة من البرغموت بشكل رئيسي مع لمسات من الامبروكسان وتوليفة من الروائح الخشبية. مجموعة من العطور الجميلة وعالية الأداء في قالب عصري وفي متناول الجميع. هل جربتم أيا منها وما هو رأيكم في هذه الشريحة من العطور؟ بانتظار تعليقاتكم أدناه ودمتم في رعاية الله. #fennec #uae🇦🇪 #عطور (at UAE) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cckwdn2Dw51/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

تحية طيبة معطرة بنفائس الطيب أحبتي #عشاق_العطور_العرب 🙋🏻‍♂️ عطر ثاني العيد كان إكسير دي إزميرالدا من دار أرتال العمانية الذي أطلقته الدار بالتعاون مع العطار العربي الكبير الأستاذ شادي سمرة في عام ٢٠٢١. ينطلق إكسير دي إزميرالدا بمزيج منعش من البرغموت والجريب فروت مع نفحات من الكشمش الأسود والزعفران، في حين شكل مزيج من البخور، والعود القلب النابض للعطر مع البنفسج ونفحات بسيطة من الجلود بينما شكل بخور اللبان ودهن العود الهندي والمسك والعنبر ركيزة العطر الفخم الجميل الذي صاغه العطار بسلاسة بحيث يكون الخيار الأسهل إرتداء والأكثر رسمية مقارنة ببقية عطور الدار وقد ميزت لمسات العود المدى الأطول من حياة هذا العطر مما أغراني في تجربة ما لديهم من دهن العود فقمت بشراء هذا الدهن الكمبودي السيوفي وياله من دهن عود قمة في الروعة ذكرني بالأدهان الفاخرة الثقيلة القوام التي تعودت عليها منذ عقود وقد أضفت لمسات من هذا الد��ن إلى جانب العطر وكانت النتيجة مذهلة وفاخرة تليق بأجواء العيد وأنصح بتجربتهما معا أو مستقلين عن بعضهما. هل جربتم هذا العطر أو أيا من عطور الدار الأخرى أو دهن العود الفاخر من أرتال؟ بانتظار تعليقاتكم أدناه ودمتم في رعاية الله وحفظه. Good day my dear #fragfam friends 🙋🏻‍♂️ The second Eid Day perfume was the Elixir de Esmeralda from the Omani house of ARTAL, which was launched by the house in cooperation with the great Arab perfumer, Mr. Shadi Samra, in the year 2021. The Elixir de Esmeralda opens with a refreshing blend of bergamot and grapefruit with notes of black currant and saffron, while a mixture of incense and agarwood formed the vibrant heart of the fragrance with violet and mild hints of leather, while frankincense, Indian oud oil, musk and amber formed the base of this beautiful luxurious fragrance that was formulated by the perfumer skilfully to be the easiest to wear and more formal offering compared to the rest of the fragrances of the house. Those touches of oud in the fragrance dominated the longer span of this perfume life, which tempted me to try the oud oil ARTAL offers, so I bought this Cambodian Seufi Oud which reminded me of those top vintage aged Oud oils that I used to enjoy for decades. I have added touches of this oil to the perfume and the result was amazing and so luxurious and worthy of the atmosphere of Eid. تحية طيبة معطرة بعجائب الأزمان وأفخر الطيب أحبتي #عشاق_العطور_العرب 🙋🏻‍♂️ [English in the Comments] كان عطري لثالث أيام العيد هو عطر خرافي بل وأسطوري من أزمان من الإمارات وهو عطر دقيقتان بعد القبلة Two Minutes After The Kiss والذي ابتكر بالتعاون من العطار كريستيانو كانالي وأطلق عام ٢٠٢١ وبدون مبالغة أحبتي العطر ساحر، أعجوبة، خرافي، قولوا عنه ما شئتم من المديح مع ذلك لن توفوه حقه.... هو بالتأكيد أحد أجمل العطور التي شممتها مؤخرا بل أحد أجمل عطرة عطور شممتها على الإطلاق... وقد ارتبطت تجربتي له مع عودة الحياة لطبيعتها بعد معاناة اسمرت لعامين كنا لا نستطيع حتى الاجتماع في العيد مع أحبتنا ولو التقى بعضنا ببعض لا نتمكن من مصافحة أحبتنا في أجواء العيد بعد عمر أمضيناه خصوصا نحن العرب متعودين على المصافحة وقبلات الخد بالخد فأصبح لهذا العطر ذكرى جميلة مع عودة تلك الروابط والأواصر لوضعها الطبيعي والحمد لله. أما عن عطرنا الخيالي يا كرام فهو ينطلق بافتتاحية خرافية من الورد التركي والبخور، والهيل الغواتيمالي والبهارات مع نفحات من العود اللاوسي شقت طريقها من قلب العطر الفاخر النابض به محاطا بباقة من الورد التركي وأوراق الباتشولي الإندونيسي والمرة وشمع العسل حتى يستقر على مزيج غاية في الفخامة المذهلة من العود اللاوسي محاطا بنفحات من الجلد، أمبروسينيد، المسك، خشب الصندل، بالإضافة لنجيل الهند الهايتي واللابدانوم الأسباني. أحبتي هذا العطر ليس للتجربة بل من ضرورات عشاق العطور بدون مبالغة... وبالطبع يزينه فوق الجمال أداء يرسم ابتسامة السعادة طويلا على محياكم. لا تفوتوا فرصة التجربة بل الإقتناء على الرغم من أني عادة لا أنصح بالشراء العمياني لكن هذا العطر بالذات استثنائي... #Azman #kings_scents #phenomenal (at Dubai City) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdLu_1wDQPo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
