Mmm, maybe. But I could always shower... with some help of course.
It is when you smell like a brewery.

I am very patriotic when beer and fireworks are involved! You want me to go home to... sleep? That’s not a way to end a fireworks show!
Psh– alright, honey. Didn’t know you were this… patriotic. We’re gonna go home after the fireworks though, okay? I think you could use the sleep.

I was born ready. And free. Because this is ‘murica!
Okay babe, I was just wondering.
You ready for the show? I heard they’re going to start the fireworks soon.

No, I don’t know how many beers I’ve had but this is ‘murica, and Bill Pullman didn’t defeat the aliens so you could comment on my beer intake!

Yeah, even still drivable. It was just a part on the back that hardly matters in the grand scheme of the truck.
That’s shit… Is it salvageable?

I jammed the hitch in when it was too small and broke it.
“Probably a smart decision, so question, what did you do to it anyways?”

No, when I go camping I like it to be farther than a place where we can run into a naked neighbor skinny dipping on a dare. Wait she’s your sister? Since when? What?
Ooh, summer camping. How fun. Hopefully not to just the woods in Crystalmont. Yep, that’s right. She’s pretty awesome. That work just speaks for itself. That, and I’m her sister.

It’s fine. I’ll handle it. I was hoping we could take the trailer out with cap next weekend but it’s not a big deal. I think a website is more productive than business cards. People here already know about the Inn. You want to branch out to a broader audience. Ask Andrew, he might have a website for himself already.
Stubborn is right. We’ll get the right part soon, babe. I’ll even go with you to buy it if you want.
Work was work. I made mini pancakes today, it was pretty awesome. I wonder if it would work for waffles too. Oh yeah, he has them on his desk in one of those card holders, too. Really professional, that guy. I never really thought I needed a business card. I never go out of town. We don’t even have them for the Inn itself. Maybe we should, though.

Yeah, it’s fixable. But I’ll probably take it in and leave it to the professionals. Since I already caused enough damage.
“True, and it doesn’t look like a fiery ball of metal yet so it’s fixable right?”

Wrong sized hitch, and a very stubborn attitude.
How was work? Andrew has business cards, did you know that? Do you even have business cards?
Agreed, cleaning can always wait.
How did you end up breaking it, though?

It could actually be worse. I could have broken the engine or something.
“Goes to show anything’s possible I guess,” she offered with a shrug, “Although I suppose it could be worse.”

I was going to get my travel trailer out of storage and clean it so it’s ready for summer camping but it’s not an emergency. I just might take you up on that. Macy Ray, huh? The one who fixed Jack’s bike right?
Were you planning on hauling something around on the back of your truck? Also, just gonna plug this in – you should totally go see Macy Ray. She’s a genius with the cars.

I’m in no rush, love. It’s not like I was planning on hauing anything. I mean I was going to pull the trailer out of storage and clean it but it can wait.
Oh, okay. So it’s fixable, then. Maybe we can go to the body shop this weekend and see what they can do? Or probably tomorrow since everyone is going to have Friday and Saturday off.

No, I just broke the hitch. The truck is perfectly fine as long as I don’t want to haul anything for a while.
How broke is broken? Should I call AAA?

I was trying to replace the hitch, and I fucked it up and broke it. Because I’m an idiot.
Well, what’d you do that for?

Well, I didn’t think I was actually capable of breaking my truck, but I did. Great.

“For sure.” Eli grabbed the drink and sat down. “I take it you’re the designated driver tonight?”
“No, I said Coke. Not Rum and Coke. I can’t…” Bryson sighed, scratching his head as he looked down at his drink. “Hey, you want this?” he asked, snagging a passerby at the party.
