“Se isso não é dançar muito bem e com muita naturalidade eu não sei o que é. Eu aposto que essa praia nunca viu tanta ginga!” E os dizeres, embora sérios, não tardaram a ser acompanhados de seu riso envergonhado, porque afinal, aquelas brincadeiras de verdade ou desafio dos amigos tavam ficando beeeem difíceis.

Colleen sighed as she lifted her head from behind the comic book she was currently reading to look at the person standing by the empty chair at her table. “Well, are you going to sit down or just stare at it all day?”

No, it’s fine. It’s fine... totally not even bothered that they’re out of my favorite cookies. Not like it’s a Girl Scout staple or anything.

“No little dude, I think you’ve had enough. I’m cutting you off, bud.” Dallas looked away from the kid and back at his current customer. “Sorry about that. What’ll it be today?”

No, I don’t know how many beers I’ve had but this is ‘murica, and Bill Pullman didn’t defeat the aliens so you could comment on my beer intake!

Everyone’s welcome to seconds and thirds, just remember that after last year’s incident with the Crystalmont High football team, hot dog eating contests amongst yourselves are prohibited.

It’s a good thing I found something to do with all that sugar so quick. I’m not an expert at sweet tea or anything but it tastes pretty good with hot dogs and burgers?

“Oh, I don’t, uh...” Lucas trailed off, giving an awkward laugh. “I don’t dance. Th-the music is good. Great even. But I definitely don’t dance to this. Or anything really.” He glanced over at the throng celebrating on the dance floor. It looked fun, sure, but he’d known since prom that he had two left feet. More than two with his mutation, actually. But even those were still left feet. His dancing days had ended before he’d even started.

Macy looked around the corner before deciding whether it was safe to keep going down the street. She’d been in hiding for days but the apartment was out of food and she needed to shop. She was just hoping that she wouldn’t run into Owen while she was out. Her eyes were gross and puffy and she hadn’t even bothered with make-up. It honestly felt like none of it mattered anymore.
It wasn’t until she looked up that she noticed her strange actions had caught some attention. “Oh, sorry, I was just... just checking to make sure the sidewalk was clear.”

“But try this one,” Jae said, pushing a drink out to whoever was dancing nearest to her. “It’s got everything in it.” She laughed. “Seriously. Everything. You’ll die.”

It’s only Thursday and I’ve already heard about Johnson’s famous barbecue sauce more than enough for this year. I’m this close to relegating him to dog serving duty.
