Am I the Asshole for losing a gift from my husband?

My husband (35M) and I (18F) have had a dispute recently. I seem to have misplaced a gift he gave me when we got married (it's a very small handkerchief, could be in the wash I'm really not sure where it's gone).

We have moved to a different country because of his work, I left my family in Italy and it's been very confusing but at least I have had my husband. However, he has been acting differently lately and accused me of giving the handkerchief to another person? This is very abnormal of him as we have been in harmony since we moved but he has appeared to become jealous. In our entire relationship, he has never been jealous, which is one reason why I love him so much. I could never disrespect him this way and would always remain loyal.

I confided in my closest friend (22F) and she just went on a rant about men, not fully listening to me which is bizarre as she completely changed the subject. Her relationship with her husband (28M) is very questionable, though I would never tell her that to her face.

I am so loving and loyal to my husband and I need to find a way to make it up to him. I feel so hurt that I would misplace the handkerchief as I would never EVER be disloyal to my beloved man.
