how do you make art friends?

can’t answer this in a way that doesn’t make me sound insanely lucky but its basically through introduction from friends of friends. I did also go to art school so, shrug.

I think maybe it’s easier for americans to make online friends. I just can’t really jive with that cause of culture clash sometimes.

all my “art friends” are just my close irl friends haha so if you’re talking about mutuals or oomfs uh i have no idea lol

Hey! Happy Tuesday to you too, I'm skipping class right now and it feels awesome. I kind of do and I kind of.. don't.. The OCs I'm obsessed with are mostly on rotation and I honestly can't really predict who I'll be obsessed with next.

Though I think OC of all time will have to go to Charlie LOL (the one with horns in the image), she has tenure in my brain.

Also that's a crazy question to ask like all of them?? I'd be here for years so I'll just tell you how Charlie starts her day: Recovering from a Half-Decade Hangover, just like that Will Wood song.

Soapy is such a vibe, what was she like as kid? Or, what would the gang be as dnd classes?

BeastCoast!Soapy wasn't very online as a kid so she mostly just followed the instructions of those older than her growing up and never really thought to question much of what anyone really says. She grew up very loved and very safe without any financial or any sort of real struggle so she's pretty naive as an adult. She was basically the perfect daughter but that makes her someone that doesn't really question the intention of others, especially someone growing up in such a privileged environment.

The class question's kinda tricky only cause I have a D&D AU and they're not really sorted into boxes like that LOL Since to me, all my ported over OCs function more as NPCs. But if I had to classify them:

Jonas is a Cavalier Fighter turned Archfey Warlock

Soapy's a Wild Magic Sorcerer

Gunther's a bard LOL, College of Eloquence! A yapper..

And honestly Naia's classless but I can see her as a Circle of Dreams Druid

They're all fey things in my D&D setting because that's where Gunther & Naia originate from :)

Where did Jonas’ intense love for music come from? Was it parents or did he do all tht discovering himself..?

hiii kay :) hmm it’s semi spoilers for beast coast so I’ll just say he first started getting into it cause his older-sister was a boy band girly in the early 2010s, which is when he was a preteen.

But of course eventually he did his own music research and for one reason or another got into more grungey-rock stuff.
