Yes, and you will understand the OCS isnt just a found family. They are THE found family. We have:

Lilith: the oldest, burnt out, wear people's expectations too long they became expectations she has on herself. Very mean but mostly bark cause she gotta have that mean look to scare people away. Protective but would prefer communicating than force. Unstable.

Mary: second oldest. Learnt from the oldest so she will bark and bite. No bullshiting with her. Very protective.

Yasmine: nerdy, middle child, keep being forgotten at the mall but she doesnt mind, very confused, just happy to be included most of the time, able to have niche hobbies and interesting career because all the expectations are placed on the oldests.

Beatrice: nerdy, second youngest, can be considered somewhat middle child. Crippling anxiety. Fear of abandonment and commitment. Niche hobbies and interests. Sheltered and learned from the older so she will bite and take no prisoner. Quiet so will be forgotten at the mall too(I'm sorry). The "angel" side to Ava, telling her what are and arent wise.

Camila: geeky, too much real life knowledge from the older ones without actually live it so shes a bit chaotic. She knows a lot about how ones should behave but doesn't know how to hide her emotions yet. She likes to be seen and prasied by her sisters. Silent but deadly. She will not be in the front of a fight but will slash your tires afterward and kidnap your dog(only cause she loves them). Will be next to Ava in any shenanigans they pull together and be the opposite of the voice of reason.

Ava: the youngest, very sheltered, keep getting lost after following some sort of bugs, a menace, will pull all sort of pranks on the others and get smacked or tickled the shit out of at the end, always forgiven because she's the youngest. Energetic and extravert. Make friends with everyone. Partake in reckless things and have no concept of riskes(often encouraged by Camila, talked out of by Beatrice and got "she will fall and learn" comment from Lilith and Mary). Fight with Lilith on a daily basis because they're too different in ways of approaching life.

Every dynamics are just heart-warming and adorable and chaotic and full of loving banters. And I eat every fics with them at found family or on a road trip up. I love them so much just thinking about them brought tears to my eyes gosh- what if they just start a whole sitcom with them travelling together in a van like that puppybusby's Discovery fic.

There’s something … different about Beatrice today. 

The frustrating thing is that Camila can’t quite pin down what is different about her. At first, she thinks it’s the fact Beatrice was smiling - not one of her polite ones, the kind of smile Beatrice usually saves for the presence of a certain golden-retriever-made-human-halo-bearer, who is notably absent from Cat’s Cradle at the moment. (‘Notably’ because Camila has actually been able to get some work done; not that she doesn’t like when Ava’s around - Camila delights in it, really - but sadly there’s only so long paperwork can be put off.)

But the smile isn’t something new. Camila’s seen it before, even without Ava in their immediate vicinity, has seen it more often as of late. No, Camila thinks, the smile is merely a symptom. It’s something else. Something she can’t immediately pin down. Her eyes narrow, committed to finding the cause. (Paperwork has waited this long; it can wait a few more hours.) 

She keeps a surreptitious eye on Beatrice as she moves through the grounds. There’s an ease to her stride that’s markedly different from just the day before - a “pep in her step” she’d go so far to say. Perhaps she’d gotten some time in at their new gym today? Beatrice always did enjoy a good workout (in her mind, Camila can already see Ava’s waggling eyebrows and the blush on Beatrice’s cheeks). But Camila’s brow furrows, remembering that Beatrice had spent most of the morning at the library, researching (Camila isn’t the only one getting some work done).

Perhaps it was just the weather in general. The past few days had been damp and cloudy, causing old aches in even Camila’s body to flare up. But today there is not one cloud in sight, and the sun filters warm and golden through the windows lining the hallway that Camila follows Beatrice down. She takes a moment to admire Beatrice’s posture, her stride. There’s that confident set in Beatrice’s shoulders that Camila’s always admired, a touch of something regal in her spine, a relaxed reassurance that has come with time. 

She looks closer. There’s a radiance to Beatrice today, something from within, a gleam, a glow, a glimmer - 

Camila gasps when she finally sees it. Small, unassuming but absolutely there. She sprints down the hall, the sound of her mad dash coupled with her wild laughter startling Beatrice and she turns just in time to catch Camila by the forearms. 

But it’s Beatrice’s hand that Camila captures and there it is: a ring. 

“Did she -?” Camila’s vibrating too much to even finish her question but Beatrice is already grinning and blushing and nodding and Camila’s laugh bubbles out once more. She squeals and gathers Beatrice into her arms, feels Beatrice’s laughter rising to match her own. 

“I was wondering if anyone would notice,” Beatrice says shyly when they part.

“Of course I’d notice.” Camila shakes her gently, marks the mystery solved and sealed as she takes Beatrice in: her smile, her glow, the love no longer hidden, freely given, freely shown. “Happiness looks wonderful on you.”

Camila: *walking around in rage talking loudly to herself while cursing in spanish and taking down every training dummy in sight*

Mother Superion: What happened to Camila?

Yasmine: I just told her I saw Ava and Beatrice kissing.

Mother Superion: *stares at Camila* Well, I'm gonna talk to her, she should know that in the OCS we do not judge love, in fact, we believe that love is...

Yasmine: Oh, no, no, she's not homophobic, she's just upset she wasn't there.

Camila: I CALLED IT FROM DAY ONE! I HAD TO WITNESS THESE FOOLS BEING USELESS IN LOVE FOR EACH OTHER FOR MONTHS! MONTHS! AND YASMINE IS THE ONE THERE FOR THEIR FIRST KISS? NO ES JUSTO! MIERDA! *takes down training dummy with one punch then makes the sign of the cross*

I started to watch the series because I knew there was sapphic representation. But as Camila said: "I found much more: peace, love, acceptance". This fandom has literally been a godsend for me, as has this show. I could finally see myself represented in the most beautiful way I've ever seen. Kristina and Alba both gave their all to give us the representation we desperately needed, and they really care about what they put into their roles.
