People who see some kind of chemistry between Harry and Hermione, what's wrong with you?

Then why doesn't anyone see the chemistry between Ron and Harry? although they are the same best friends as Harry and Hermione.

probably because both Ron and Harry are guys, and same-sex friendship has always been natural for society, no one involved them in an affair. but as soon as people see a warm relationship between a girl and a guy, then everything is at once, they have love. this disbelief in heterosexual friendship, people support stereotypes, and it sucks, IT PISSES ME OFF

I love how the body language of their kiss really reflects how they feel for one another.

Adrien holds Marinette gently like she is something precious because that's what she has always been to him, throughout their relationship and friendship:

He values Marinette´s presence in his life and has expressed how grateful he is for what she does to others and who she is to him.

Marinette immediately cups both Adrien´s cheeks tenderly and holds his face, shielding him from the dangers of the world, his cruel father and all the things he was forced to do against his will.

It enhances how protective she is of him. She is Adrien´s knight in shining armour and she will always be there to save him.

I love that Adrinette´s (and even Ladynoir´s) love language is physical touch since these two just have so much love in their hearts for one another to give and it just complements them so well. Marinette does not know what is it like to grow up without affection whereas Adrien suffered neglect most of his life.

They instinctively reach for each other at every opportunity and thrive on that love <3

THEY ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER, it's wonderful for a reason — the love story of Adrien and Marinette, They are beautiful. This is another reason why I am against someone sending Adrien and Marinette with someone else.specifically, only the canon is acceptable in our fandom, and left-wing ships such as lukanette and adrigami should not exist.

Something on my mind amidst all of the asks I get every so often about s5 discourse and people being upset about the love square is just how unfulfilling it is to view the sides as 4 different ships. Because they're not 4 different ships, they're all one ship, and each of the sides is designed to show us different facets of why these two are so perfect for each other.

Marichat shows us a more unrestricted side. They're goofy and carefree, they're deep and vulnerable.

Ladrien shows us a gentle but passionate love and devotion. They protect each other, they're in awe of each other, they would drop everything for each other.

LadyNoir shows us a deep and unwavering trust and friendship. Two people perfectly in sync with each other who support each other and stand by each other.

Adrinette shows us a sweet love and a dedication to being what the other needs. They learn and grow and heal together. They protect each other and sacrifice for each other. They fight for each other.

All of those parts are beautiful separately, but when you put them all together, it creates something truly wonderful. The love square is meant to demonstrate that they are really made for each other in every single way, and you can't appreciate that unless you really do view them as four parts of a whole, not four sides in competition with each other. Put them together and you have two people who deeply trust, love, and value each other. Two people who laugh together, who cry together, who fight together. Friends who fell deeply and unconditionally in love with each other. Two people who would do anything for each other, who are both equally devoted to each other. Partners that fit together perfectly. That's the big picture here.

YEES, Adrien loves Marinette so much that he is ready to kill for her. I'm sure if someone harms HIM, Marinette will do the same. she also loves him too much and will tear everyone up for him

I think it’s important to notice, sweet cinnamon roll Adrien who is usually not very confrontational constantly defends Marinette and harshly confronts anyone who tries to harm her in any sort of way.

It’s become even more obvious now that they’re dating. Like, he balled up his fist when he heard Kim telling the story about how he pranked Marinette. He was so quick to finally end his friendship with Chloe once he heard the entire story.

And truth be told, this isn’t something he just started doing. Let’s not forget how he threatened Lila and let her be his modeling partner just so he could get her to stop lying about Marinette.

Adrien is so in love with Marinette, enough to stand up for her and unleash some real boiling anger on anyone who tries to mess with her. He simply won’t tolerate it. It’s so character breaking for Adrien to be harsh, but he’s willing to be that way so long as he’s defending Marinette.

I also gotta admit, I love that Adrien keeps going against his father’s wishes to end his relationship with Marinette, and keeps having dates with her and keeps trying to convince Gabriel that she’s great.

Gabriel can stop Adrien from kissing her, but Adrien is never going to give up on Marinette and I love that. Adrien is slowly getting better at standing up to his father, which is some great character development, because it is never easy to stand up to someone who abuses you.

The only scary thing is that we’ve seen how much harm Adrien is capable of causing when he’s angry. He loses his temper the slightest bit when he’s Cat Noir, he has no issue cataclysming the villain. It’s rather terrifying to think of what could happen if someone pushes Adrien over the edge.

DID I COME ACROSS A CLEVER ARTICLE WOW, I love this sm and I already love the author of this article.

I never come on here, but I wanted to discuss something since I've seen a couple of salt posts discussing Adrien's "sudden" shift of feelings towards Marinette in season 5, and I don't think some of you are understanding the whole lovesquare arc. Adrien has ALWAYS loved Marinette, ever since the umbrella scene. His feelings gradually grew more and more, but since he had already taken interest in Ladybug, he suppressed those feelings. This was the whole point of the "just a friend" phase. It was DENIAL, not genuine disinterest. If you go back and rewatch the show from the beginning, you'd notice that Adrien unconsciously behaves in a way that makes his crush on Marinette obvious. Ex:

Feeling uncomfortable kissing Chloé in season 1, but feeling perfectly comfortable with Marinette.

The constant heart eyes we got throughout the show.

He carries her lucky charm with him all the time, and he even made a gift especially for her

He called her his "everyday Ladybug", which we all know how much that means coming from him.

Effortlessly dancing romantically with her, TWICE.

Etc, etc. Keeping all that in mind, what happened in Puppeteer 2 isn't when he started DEVELOPING feelings, it's when he started REALIZING those feelings. He said it himself, the way he reacted to her going ahead and kissing him shocked him. Not to mention that in Chat Blanc, he straight up told her in his confession that he had always felt this way, he just didn't understand what he felt.

All their interactions thus far had Marinette somehow friendzone their encounters, so Adrien never had the chance to think about his own feelings, except in Weredad, but he was too preoccupied with his intense feelings for Ladybug to notice. And it's because of that, that after Marinette kissed him, he started noticing the similarities between her and Ladybug, causing his feelings to grow even further.

"You remind me of the girl I love."

Then, he started paying more attention to her, and noticed how she always cheers him up and makes him laugh, and is always there for him when he needs her.

Finally, we reach the season 4 finale, and he realizes that Marinette truly understands him for who he is, not the image he kept up, and it's THEN that he fully realizes there is something there, but he is too confused to know for sure, which is directly supported by his confession in Chat Blanc.

That is when Determination comes into play, and Adrien finally realizes what the butterflies in his stomach meant this entire time. This is also why that every time he discovers Marinette is Ladybug, he is instantly relieved and overwhelmed with joy, because that makes the two people he loves the most one person, and there is no more dilemma in his heart.

So this is it, a summary of Adrien's development of his feelings towards Marinette, which also explains why it's so sincere from his end. It's not sudden for sure. I hate the way people underestimate Adrien and overestimate Luka.

seriously, people literally idealize Luka. in fact, he's probably really too perfect AND THAT'S BAD. because the character must be alive, he must have flaws, and does Luka have flaws? as far as I remember, no. although, his only drawback is that he doesn't seem to respect himself at all, since he lets Marinette wipe her feet on him.

People call Adrien blind and stupid, mostly because he didn't see Marinette's feelings. but do not forget that he just grew up away from society, almost did not communicate with people, he does not know much yet, but he is growing as a person in society, and it is interesting to watch!
