Fanfic idea where Nico and Bianca were never thrown through time.

The pact was never made. There was no prophecy. Or there's still the prophecy but Hades was able to convince the other gods his children would be raised and trained right.

Maybe they stay at CHB because of the ongoing dangers of WW2. Maybe they're dealing with extra scrutiny not just because of their parentage, but because Hitler is their half brother (I know some frown on that being canon in the books. But in a story taking place during WW2, it could be interesting. Actually utilize that).

And other than immortals and the di Angelo's, it would also have plenty of different new characters, as all the characters (except Hazel) of the original series don't exist yet, their mortal parents don't even.

And then there would be Nico struggling with his homosexuality, but actually during WW2

It's basically the "What if they were allowed to live in their time" au.

Heck. Maybe even a flash forward at the end where they're old, and give advice to newer demigods or something.

I feel like Ragatha's whole thing of like trying to be nice to the point of feeling fake might have something to do with her upbringing.

Not just a toxic mother, but instead grew up to be very entitled. And her being nice now, no matter how fake it feels, is her trying to change, not wanting to be like her mother. Jax may even remind her of how she use to be.

But it's to a point where she doesn't really let herself express any other emotions or opinions. Like slipping up once could make her turn back into that cruel girl. And Jax pushing her buttons more doesn't help.

Queer Liberation Library 2025 Pride Fundraiser

For those who still don't know, Queer Liberation Library (QLL) is a free, donation-funded, digital library of LGBTQIA+ books and resources. Since it is not a tax-funded public service like public libraries (also very important services, go get a card from your local library to support them!), it is open to all U.S. mailing addresses. You can read QLL's e-books and audiobooks on the Libby app or the Overdrive website.

They are having a Pride Month fundraiser. As of 6/15/25, they are at ~$26,000 out of $50,000. They have the next two weeks of Pride Month to make it to their goal.

If it is safe for you to, and you can afford it, consider donating. You can donate any amount, you can donate once or monthly, and you can donate anonymously. If you can't donate, consider sharing the fundraiser instead!
