This change will start on May 27th, setting the deadline to the 26th to decline to their use of data.

How do you opt out? Meta provided two opt-out forms for that:

For WhatsApp, use this link and select the question "How can I make an objection to the processing of my information?" And follow the process listed.

You have to be logged in with an account to use these but once you are logged in, you can enter any email you want to. If you have multiple accounts, repeat the process multiple times, one for each email address. You just need to log in to one account, not all of them. You don't need to provide a reason. They should auto-accept your request and send you an Email with confirmation.

URGENT EMERGENCY

My wife just lost her job, and while I do have a full time job lined up to start soon, it won't start in time for us to make rent and won't be enough to fully cover us until she starts work again. I know I pretty frequently ask for financial help, but this time it's extremely dire. We need to be able to afford to make rent before we end up homeless. My bank account is severely in the red still, and all the ways I usually make money online just aren't enough to support me, my wife, and my disabled younger sister.
