hello friends - apologies for the silence here i am just a nightmare at managing blogs. gonna clean some stuff up here & try to do stuff writing wise!

listen i'm. listen. enya has not known unconditional love. not beyond her sisters. but even the unconditional might just be on her side of things. she's too afraid to ask when they reunite in baldurs gate. and it breaks me. love has never come without requirement. the irony is that being connected by those tadpoles is the most connection she's ever actually had with people in the long-term

even when i'm not here i'm thinking about her (enya's face being grabbed as the person who loves her declares their love/care for her in passion and frustration, breaking down that wall she hastily built when realising her own feelings)

despite despising her parents & the village elder, running away and starting a new life was a far better option for enya. if she hadn't? had remained the good daughter, the loving heir? she'd be under gortash's thumb, fearful for both of her sisters lives if she stepped out of line, which is horrendous because they would be the only sources of love and affection in her life.
