How are you going to be getting voices for the Magnus archives musical?
Uhhh good question! Once I've got 2-3 songs down I'll start asking around haha! If anyone wants to volunteer now though, I wouldn't mind! No one needs to be *good* at anything to do so, this is a fanwork after all.
Might make a post on Casting Call Club when I've got 5 songs down.
Very important that everyone who is interested knows that none of this would probably ever be paid work because of the complicated legalities of fanworks, especially when it actually comes to TMA.

so that’s why wealwell is standing with such an air of confidence in his character art. it feels like he’s standing so much More compared to other characters because he’s certified in that. that’s what he majored in.

please don’t compare gilear to wealwell…. one of them was punched in the head by a gorilla and died instantly. the other did the splits and used pure groin strength to save his brother and their strange new haunted friend

I feel like TMA, and specifically Johnny's inability to pronounce Gerard and Jared differently, cursed me because Gerry is my emotional comfort goth but I found out yesterday that Jared has been gardening with my spine

A 'no questions asked' food pantry means no questions asked.
When we're stocking our pantry, we are not looking at a person's clothes or their accessories or what kind of car they drove there in. We are HAPPY to see it BEING USED AT ALL.
I don't know anyone's situation. Maybe they got that designer bag at a thrift shop. Maybe its a knockoff. Maybe it was a gift. Maybe they got it when they had money and now they don't have money. Maybe they're getting stuff for a friend.
Maybe they have plenty of money, don't need to be taking stuff from the pantry, but they are anyway because we said-
NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Do you know what happens when someone takes from our pantry when they don't need it? We're down one item. But maybe they tell someone that the pantry is there. Or maybe they come back to it when they need it. Or maybe they throw a dollar in the donation box. Or maybe they put an item on the shelf. Or maybe they come to our food drive.
WE DONT CARE.
We don't care who used it.
We care that it was used.
Im not a cop. Don't make me do cop stuff, I wont do it.

“protect children” <- reactionary drivel basically every time
“be kind to children” <-radical thinking that causes way more arguments than you would ever imagine

we have all noticed that "self-care" basically ended up as a replacement word for "pampering" in a marketing lexicon and not as an active set of behaviours intended to allow the body and brain to adequately rest and revive in the face of the ceaseless crushing grind of capitalism yes

Happy Summerween 2024!
(Image ID at the bottom.) So this absolutely got away from me, which is why it's getting posted so late. It's still Summerween here for uh... 45 minutes!
I don't know if this works or not; the concept was, like... the kids convince Ford to put on his badass Portal outfit for Summerween, and then everyone surprises him by whipping up a group costume as refugees from the SciFi Sideburns Dimension.
Dipper's outfit is actually based on a Portal Dipper design I did a few years ago. Yes, Dipper has a Nyarf gun. Yes, Wendy has a Super Soaker. Yes, Soos is armed with his laser-tag gear. Honestly, aside from Mabel's grappling hook, Fiddleford is probably the one with the most actual-weapon-like thing in the group. (But he left off the laser cannons.)
I can think of a few things I wish I'd added, and I already see a mistake, but... gotta get this posted.
[ID. A colored drawing of Stan, Ford, Dipper, Mabel, Soos, Wendy, and Fiddleford all together doing a group costume for Summerween. Ford is dressed in the outfit he was wearing when he came out of the Portal; everyone else is wearing an interpretation of a "dimensional adventurer" outfit. Mabel's outfit is the most colorful and least practical. Fiddleford is sitting high on top of a pair of robot legs. End ID.]
