I’ve heard a theory going around that the Alicorn amulet has something to do with King Sombra. It appeared shortly after the Crystal Empire returned, it’s obviously powered by some form of dark magic. Some think it could’ve been Sombras attempt to make his own version of Grogar’s famous Bewitching Bell. Others think it was his attempt to make himself an Alicorn or at least on par with one. Thoughts?

"Oh, yes, I've heard those theories too! Theories about the artifacts and hidden history of Equestria are always interesting!!

"Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to find that there is some connection, considering the design of the amulet, and the way it turns the iris red when in use... It could be one of the ways Sombra sought to increase his power, before giving up his mortality as a pony and becoming a shadow. I'm not sure if he sought to become like an alicorn, or to replicate Grogar's bell, but either way it's clearly a dark magical object that increases power through dangerous arcane means.

"I'd love to do more tests in the amulet if it was safe, but, seeing as it was made with dark magic, tampering with it could have serious adverse effects.

"Thanks for reminding me of the theories though! I love hearing them!"

Is there a special somepony in your life?

"Not at the moment, no! I've been a bit too busy with my duties to dedicate enough of my time to a romantic partner. We're still finishing up the transfer of power from Celestia and Luna to myself and my friends, going from a monarchy to a... semi-parliament...? has been a bit of a hassle...

"Not to mention, I don't even have an IDEA of what my love life is gonna look like once I'm officially ruling Equestria... I guess I'll just see what life has in store for me."

"I made some modifications to the decor of your castle. Hope you don't mind. It had a few GLARING omissions that needed correcting!" The castle now had various portraits and sculptures of Discord added to it. And one, small picture of Twilight blepping adorably. "I think it brings the whole thing together, don't you?"

"They're, um, lovely...?" Twilight watched the closest statue nervously, waiting for it to throw a cloud of glitter at her, or explode into oatmeal, or something.

"... Wait a minute, where did you get this picture of me?"

Say what would you do if the map called you to deal with a friendship problem between a chef who specializes in cheese quesadillas and a ladybug researcher with her own private ladybug farm?

"Erk-- W-well, I mean... I'm sure if I told the theoretical chef and farmer that those things... um... make me uncomfortable, then... they would be sure to keep them a respectful distance away from me...! I'd be there for a friendship problem after all, not to help with their businesses!!"
