Just kidding, I will proceed to list below a few of things I enjoyed.

-One, I actually didn't hate it entirely.

-I honestly ended up viewing this from a "so bad it's actually kinda funny" perspective

-Dakota Johnson having absolutely no emotion in her voice for like 1 hour

-Dakota Johnson then suddenly gaining emotion in her voice (new achievement: emotion unlocked!)

-Dakota Johnson getting to crash cars into buildings and through buildings- TWICE

-Two of the movie's songs being Britney Spears Toxic AND What's Up by 4 Non Blondes???

-so that's immediately a win for my music nerd self

-also HA GAY (sorry but I had to say it)

-taking most of the movie to get there but FOUND FAMILY DYNAMICS ALWAYS GET ME- sometimes it's a SINGLE MOM WHO WORKS TWO JOBS and her three teen girlies

-and I love them your honor

-another thing that took until quite literally the end of the movie, but when we finally got C*NTY CASSIE/DAKOTA JOHNSON- like I'm sorry but her in that chair with the sunglasses, like okay I'm sat for THIS version of Madame Web, YES!

-and finally, EMMA ROBERTS ICONIC MARY (boots the house down) like Emma Roberts really said "and I would do that for check"

guys guys guys, y'all, I just had my pulp musicals discovery of the day and I don't know what else to do with this information so those of you who are also pulp musicals fans, here you go.

I just listened to Once You Get A Look and close to the end, if you listen to the instrumental closely, you can hear the motif of Behind Me????

Matt Dahan you genius. Also I am devastated because it's technically calling back to Ep 1 but also foreshadowing with Rose I'm pretty sure, or at least how I interpret it now that I hear the motif.

And that's my brainrot for the day.

Farewell to another show: Wolf Pack

Not gonna make this a long post, but yet another show has been lost. For those who have watched this show or were interested in it, or both, like me, Wolf Pack has been cancelled.

I am going to go grieve now. (read: watch multiple edits and then think about the headcanons I made up for each of the characters and maybe actually read the books because did you know this show was sort of/kind of loosely based of a book series?)

I truly wish the best for all the actors though. And I hope Armani, Bella, Chloe, and Tyler all get to shine even brighter in the future. Gonna miss seeing the four of them.

So it's been a bit since I've watched all three 60th anniversary specials, things have had some time to marinate. But like, is it just me or is anyone else curious about what Captain Jack's reaction to the bigeneration would be? I just keep thinking of "I can't tell you what I'm thinking right now."

Finally saw The Marvels and I just have to say, thank you to the people on Tumblr. Once again, Tumblr proving to be my safe space. It's a really refreshing relief to come here after seeing the reviews on other platforms. To the others on here who genuinely enjoyed the movie, or had the decency at least to comment from a respectful perspective if it wasn't your thing, thank you.

So I did a thing that I usually do- I've never watched the show The Boys, but I saw one post on Instagram about the show Gen V and then decided to look into THAT.

What is it with me getting into fandoms by working backwards and watching the spin-off or sequel first?

Anyway, I think I'm gonna be a Gen V watcher now.

I binged all of Season 1 over the weekend.

Again, what that says about me- probably speaks for itself tbh.

I'm curious to see what they'll do with Season 2.

Also, hopefully I won't have to watch The Boys to understand the second season of Gen V- I personally liked that I didn't necessarily need to know everything from or watch the first show to jump into the spin-off.

Well, yet another show to add to my ever growing fandom list now.

We finally have the ENTIRE HATCHETFIELD TRILOGY. ON YOUTUBE. NAME A BETTER TRIO!!!

This is one of those times I feel blessed to be IN this timeline.

Pulp Musicals Episode 3 Thoughts

Hello, anyone else out there who is aware of Pulp Musicals by the amazing talented incredible Matt Dahan?

Well, the final part of the third episode of Pulp Musicals, The Ghost of Antikythera premiered!!

As usual, I was blown away (pun not intended!). This little musical series is some of the best stuff I've ever heard.

EVERYONE did so well. Every episode just gets better and better.

Just really fantastic work by all.

I can't wait for the next episode already!

Thank you again Pulp Musicals for giving us everything every time!!

Well, to all of us manifesting that Heathers West End to Six West End sweep, how we feeling after the announcement?
